Yonex Sonicage 2 WIDE (2E) Mens Tennis Shoe

This is the previous model to the 3 but it is an unbelievable price for a quality higher end shoe that is one of the lightest shoes in the market, and it comes in 2E and 4E which is rare. Great fit and feel. Highly recommend. Have purchased in the past and just bought 2 more from when they wear out and need replacing. One of my go-to shoes!

Was wearing the NB 996 2E and thought I would try this. However, it was much more narrow, less comfortable. The 996s would last me about 5-6 months but these Sonicage 2s only lasted about 2 months playing the same amount. Traction was pretty good. Lateral stability was good as well.

Have been wearing NB 996 for about 2 years. Decided to give these Yonex a try. The width is the main problem. I got the 2E and it's not nearly as wide and comfortable as the NB. Probably about the same as a 2E Asic Gel Resolution and K Swiss. Both I stopped wearing as they weren't wide enough. In terms of the grip and traction, the Yonex is quite good. Lateral stability is also good. However, these cost a lot less than those shoes so if you're not needing very wide shoes in the toebox, then these are a good option.

Great wide fit shoes. Good durability

The shoe is lower on top of toes and more narrow in width than my New Balance and K-Swiss shoes. The toe box narrows to a point. This shoe is simply not made for me. Disappointed. I loved the look of the shoe.
