I love ASICS shoes and wear them everyday. This is the first resolution I have worn and I will agree they run a bit shorter or narrower through the toe box. Still, tennis shoes should fix snug and they have the comfort of ASICS
I have worn Asics for the past few years. I LOVE the arch support in the Gel Resolutions, the style, the color and they hold up well. BUT, with the newer models, they are way too tight in the toe box. I bruised two toes last summer (both feet, fourth toe...weird) and couldn't figure out what was happening. I lost the nails, grew new ones and in Dec played a tournament, and the same darn nail is bruised again. I began reading reviews and realized it is not just me, they are too tight in the toe. I have a narrow foot and can't go up a size. I can't imagine someone with a medium width foot could wear these. It's a shame. I am now searching for a new brand as I can't keep killing my toes. I did notice that my oldest Gel pair was made in Vietnam and the newer ones in China. Maybe they could be made in the USA and fit more like the older Gels. Nothing worse than a company changing things when they don't need changed!!! I had recommended the Gels to many tennis players, now I warn them about the toe. So sad....
I really like Asics shoes and these were SUPER comfortable right out of the box!. My issue was with the color. They appeared to be a fairly light blue but they were SUPER BRIGHT AQUA!! Glad the one review said their daughter and friends liked the color. Maybe if I was still in my teens I would have liked.
Not remotely true to size. Could barely get my foot in and they were VERY tight. Had to return them. I own 4 other pairs of Asics shoes in size 8 and never had a problem. Wore the others with no break-in and loved them. Was only replacing my current ones because of a hole in the side.
I love and use this brand for many years.... what happen? shoes are way to narrow now ... I got two pair few months ago and tried everything to make it work nothing!!! zero, nada . I will be changing brand:(
