Volkl Vostra V3 Tennis Racquet

As an older, 3.5 doubles player, I value comfort, control, and mobility in my racquets. I have been playing with Heads--110 and, lately, a 115. I demoed the V3 against a new model Yonex 110, having been impressed with the latter's previous edition. Sadly, the newer Yonex felt like a board, with more vibration to the arm than I wanted. (Could've been the strings and/or the tension.). I liked the balance and steadiness of the V3 and ordered it with the same stringing. Though not a power racquet, it generates well if one takes a full swing, and I am able to hit deep backhand returns with normal swings. Controlled placement is reliable on serves and in play. Side spins and slices are ok, but I seem to have "lost" what was a dependable drop shot. So more adapting, and perhaps different strings in the future.
