I've played Volkl racquets since the mid 90s and always used the original V1 Classic (another great racquet BTW). I played throughout high school and a bit in college. I decided it was time to upgrade my racquets after a 30 year break. While a little heavier than the V1, the C10 Evo feels comfortable in my hands. I felt like my volleys were a bit more crisp and ground strokes solid. Which, I think , translates into good feel for the ball. One thing about it though, it will let you know if you're not hitting in the sweet spot. For me, this is a plus, it makes me really concentrate on my stroke and form. As someone who was used to taking big swings at balls, it has made me reevaluate how I approach my play. It may not be for a beginning player or even some intermediate players, but for me, it's just what I need.
Felt too powerful / no feel for ball (for me)
