My 12 year old son likes these and said they are comfortable. They seem a little wide, which he likes. 1 negative is the front stitching on one of the shoes is coming loose. They are only 2 weeks old.
Awesome shoes fit like a glove. These shoes outlast all other brands and also bought these for my kids. My oldest kid wear out any other brand within 2 months but these will last around 6 months .
my son had these before, he plays lots of tennis, durable sole
Tried a pair of these because Ascics changed fit a couple of years ago. I wore and liked Diadoras about 30 years ago and was curious whether they were still a good product...well, they are even better than I expected. Fit is best one half-size large, and it should be noted that the tongue is an integral part of the shoe, not attached only at the toe end like most brands. That makes it slightly harder to pull on, but when you do, it is like a glove on your foot. There is little play and plenty of room in the toe box. I have a high instep and did not notice any problem with these shoes. In action, these performed very well with great traction on hard courts. I forget that I even have shoes on when I'm playing since they fit so snug like a part of my foot. No need for padded or double socks as they have great cushioning. Give them a try, at the current prices they are a huge value.
I bought it because it is light, and Asics had narrowed the Gel Speed. Boy am I glad I tried these. Light — feel like you are on air —, the fit is like some snug slipper. Never have I had a modern tennis shoe that is so kind to my feet, both playing and after.
These shoes fit like a glove, literally. I read the reviews about the odd tongue arrangement; there really isn't any tongue, it's like slipping on a glove. I simply use a shoe horn, no problem. The fit is excellent and the best thing for me is great traction on hard courts. I formerly wore Asics, but they changed their shoes with the Resolution 6's and are now too narrow. I'm a true size 10.5, so I ordered an 11 in Diadora and it's a perfect fit. These are especially cool in hot weather and fit like a glove; no break-in was needed. I ordered 3 more pair since they are heavily discounted.
This shoe is really comfortable and snug due to the sock liner. The cushioning is superb and it runs true to size with ample room in the toe box.
Light weight with good feel and fit. It can be a tad wider on sole at toes to give additional later support from twisting ankles.
My son plays 5-6 times a week and loves Diadoras. The combination of comfort, performance and durability are second to none.
Excellent once you get them on.
Have normal width foot but most shoes in forefoot fit me too snug ,these fit almost perfect just a tad snug but felt comfortable not biding. Cushioning felt good as well as movement and stability. With a bit more wear probably be perfect. Also i like the little low to ground feel for quickness without a loss of cushioning and has good ventilation.
Great support that allows you to feel strong + confident for high performance
I ordered these because I heard that they had a wide toe box and low arch support, which are suitable to my feet. I took them out of the box and was impressed by how nice they looked and how comfortable they are. The tongue is attached to the rest of the shoe so that took a little bit of getting used to but makes for a snug, secure fit once on. After playing for a couple of hours I had some slight pain in my heel, which has never been a problem area for me. I've decided to use them for 'lighter use' play and not for tournament or drill use. Lastly, they have some stitching right at the front of the shoe, which is a terrible idea, as after a couple of hours it's already started to fray. No telling what they'll look like after a few weeks of playing.
