I have been using this for a couple years and it has been a great racquet. Good balance of power and spin/control. Feel a really good pop off the strings.
It was recommended to buy this racquet by a former Top 10 ATP doubles player. I have a big groundstroke and a big serve (and was told it would match my power level when I was an average 3.5 player). It uplifted my groundstrokes more efficiently and made them stronger and when I first using it - I felt the racquet added to my power but a little heavier, and I could definitely feel the effect of the longer level giving more power. Now at 4.0 playing 3+ times a week, the racquet is responding with the equal amount of power no matter how much I give. I have two of these racquets that I always strung the same way with Solinco Outlast 17 (at 50/48 lbs). I'm also particular about the handle shape - no other brands fit me better than the dimension of the rectangular cross section of the Babolat racquets (some other brands are more square than rectangular so they don't feel steady in my hands), so I've been sticking with them for a long time.
Bought this racquet to upgrade from the 2006 model and it is just night and day with comfort on ground strokes.
Like it. bought it. This racquet has all the great features of the 2012 plus so much more. I had to adjust my string tension from 27# to 25# to make the transition to this racquet. Great power, spin, control. This racquet has it all.

My wife uses this racquet. Iy appears to add a little extra pace and spin on serves and ground strokes. Nice design, swing weight, and balance.
A little more power on serves, same spin and pace on groundstrokes, still evaluating maneuverability on volleys and overheads

Great Customer Service, Great Racquet!! I forgot to ask for the free 2-day delivery when I purchased. Called Customer Service and they immediately changed my racquet purchase to 2 Day delivery and it came in 2 DAYS!! Thank you for your great Customer Service and great products!! I LOVE my Babolat Pure Drive Plus 2021 Racquet! Just started playing tennis and this racquet has been great!
Great racquet, excellent power, touch and feel. The 1/2-inch extension helps me to reach difficult shots and well as ease of serve.
I really like the feel of this racquet. It is light enough and very responsive. What really surprised me is how it felt good in my hand right away. I thought it would take some getting use to-but I’ve played with it since Day 1 when I got it. Haven’t used my trusty ole one.
Very powerful
I was using the Bab Strike for a few years but the pure drive gives me a little more power
I have used Pure Drive + racquets since they were first released. The 2021 version continues to be a great racquet and feels very similar to the previous generation. Great combination of balance, power and control. I wasn't happy with the free string that came with the racquet, but it only lasted a few days. With my preferred hybrid combo, the racquet is exactly what I want.
We like this one
Love the new edition of the Babolat PureDrive+ for 2021, with Xcel strings. It’s awesome and brings new life to my game!
I would give the racquet a five star rating but I'm not as the racquet is not for me. It's got a LOT of power that is difficult to manage. On ground strokes, I have to really give my shots a lot of snap to generate top spin to keep the ball in the court. Unless the ball is struck correctly, it will go long or high. I usually have an outstanding backhand and forehand slice where I can really cause it to cut low to the ground. Not so much with this racquet. I had to literally hit it perfectly or it would float. On serves, if I hit it right, I can get some nice power and even control (on my second serve). If there is one area where it really helped my game it was with my serve. Given my trouble controlling the ball with groundstrokes, I was surprised as to how well I struck the ball on my serves. The racquet definitely swings heavy, too. It's unwieldly at times -- especially around the net -- if you are not in a good position for a volley. My overall judgment? If you are a player who loves a classic racquet feel, this racquet is not for you. It has tons of power. So, if you're a player who loves power and can deal with hitting it long occasionally, while controlling it most of the time, this racquet may be for you. (I had it strung with RPM Blast at 53 pounds but that was not enough to give it more control. Perhaps a higher string poundage, like 58 would do the trick, but as it is now, it doesn't have the control I would like.) If you can control the power, though, the Babolat Pure Drive Plus 2021 may be for you. It IS a nice racquet. Bablolat makes good products. It's an attractive racquet to look at and for someone who has can control the power -- especially on groundstrokes -- this may be the racquet for you to use. But it's not for me as I prefer something more classical feeling.
The racket has a very nice quality feel. Balanced weight distribution and allows an easy swing through on shots. I do like the blue color as well but I have enjoyed many previous Babolat rackets as well. This one takes the best design award. In short, nice work Babolat!
