Lightweight and easy application as it naturally curves around frame with a little tension. It will easily tear with one strike on a hard court surface but does it’s job of protecting the frame. You’ll just need to reapply often. There is also no sticky residue left on the frame to build up so that makes reapplication less of an issue.
I have been using Wilson Racquet Saver Tape on my 30 year old Wilson Sledge Hammer Racquets since they were new and they still look and play like new. I have three identical Wilson Sledge Hammer racquets that I have been rotating for 30 years. I have demo'd newer racquets and haven't found any that I like as well. It's worth protecting your old 'tried and true battle axes'. Sometimes newer isn't necessarily better.
Bought this to temporarily protect my guard. After the first use, it was torn. Not very durable
Provides some level of protection. But, need to reapply each session.
i like the flexibility of the tape, wider usage space
easy to apply on correct width. Used to secure a gap at the end of racquet guard but also prevented damage, scratches.
I like the product, it would be nice if they had more colors available.
I'm a bit wild and scrape my racket on the ground a lot going for low shots. I prefer the Wilson brand tape because it's wider than other brands I've seen/used and can cover what I want covered on my frame in one piece. Aside from the width, it's stiff enough that it makes it easy to apply and the adhesive holds well.
Perfect for protecting the racket head. The strips are sufficiently long enough to protect more than upper half of the racket. Wil buy again.
This tape does a good job giving me a little extra protection. Not quite as durable as the Babolat tape but still worth the money.
