This string is excellent for doubles players who like to charge the net. I use the 17 gauge string and can generate good spin to pass net players. I found it a tad softer on your hitting arm than Solinco Barbwire although I strung my raquet at 59 lbs. I am going to stick with it for a while.

Fantastic String

I bought this string to try out for a tournament, and it’s now my new favorite! Incredible spin and power with great control. Easy on the arm too. Checked every one of my boxes, and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you try it for yourself.

Good string

What's not to like. Long lasting, retains its tension, not hard on my arm. I string it in the mains with a softer cross string.

Tour Bite Breakdown
This shopper rated the product 4 out of 5 stars

This stiffer string gives great control at the net and in service returns. However, it bites too much on ground strokes. I find my self sending shots sailing because I am used to having to generate spin. If you try to do that with this string, the bite cause the ball to sail long. It is a good string for people who don't generate a lot of spin with their stroke. I wish the company would sell a stiffer version of the diamond rough. DR has more control on high spin shots but is too soft.

Will never use another..

I LOVE Solinco TB. I have used it alone and as a hybrid with the Vanquish, but alone is the way I prefer. I use the 17g for spin..I restring every 3/4 months and truly I don't think has much give, but I do know they loosen a bit..Feel is amazing, and I have NEVER had a single arm issue..LOVE THIS PRODUCT..Give it a try..

Great Shaped Poly
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

This string has more power than most polys. It also has the great spin and bite that you expect with a shaped poly. It is also on the softer side for a poly. I was a regular MSV hex user, but I needed a little more power and a little more softness in a hybrid string job. It worked. I especially recommend trying this string as a Luxillon replacement. If you use Luxillon rough, this has the power of Luxillon but is softer and cheaper. By the way, if you compare the 17g to the 18g of this string, the 17g has a little less power and a little more spin (unusual that the larger gauge gives more spin).

Solinco Tour Bite 17g
This shopper rated the product 4 out of 5 stars

I bought Solinco 19g,18g,17g,16g to test out which one produces more spin. I had previously tried Signum pro Tornado 17g and MSV Focus Hex 17g. Firstly, among all four Solinco gauges of string. I couldn't really tell the difference on spin generation. They all bite the ball well. The major difference I can feel among these four gauges of strings is the stiffness. Secondly, how much spin can the Tour Bite generate? It's below my expectation. The string does not snap back to position very well after impact. If you string them tight they do stay in position (i.e. does not move), which is not what I want, I want the string move and snap back. Thirdly, the comparison to Signum Pro Tornado and MSV Focus Hex. Tour Bite plays more like MSV Focus Hex, the stiffness and spin. The Signum Pro Tornado is a bit softer and can snap back better thus produce better spin for my strokes. I'm a 4.0 baseline, single player.

Great String

First time I've played this string and so far I'm happy with the pop and the way it grabs the ball on touch shots. Good value and playability.

So far so good

Bought this string after reading other reviews for it. This is the first Poly string ive tried since I started stringing. No problems with comfort or feel, power is there even strung at 62#, and you can definitely spin a ball.

Good Spin, low power
This shopper rated the product 3 out of 5 stars

This string has good control and spin. However it is low powered. Also, it is fairly stiff, so it is low in comfort.

Great string!

I used Solinco sting for the first time after I received it as part of a promo. GREAT control! Has a solid feel/pop. I'm playing with the Dunlop Aerogel 4D 300 Tour (18X20) so this string works well with this frame!
