It fits and plays really well. I need a wide shoe but this one fits perfectly.
Very comfortable shoes, great price. I have played with Gel Dedicate 4, and now 5, and they've been a great find.
Fit well and very comfortable, particularly the cushiony feeling.
Wore the Asics Gel Dedicate 5 shoe the other day for the first time and was pleasantly embraced by a very cushioned shoe that fit like a glove. No break-in necessary, great fit right from the box. I was concerned that the Asics maybe too low cut for my taste but again pleasantly surprised. I still like Prince T22 fit and feel but now I have a new shoe that meets my needs at a great price from MidwestSports. I play hard and move aggressively so I like a shoe to be sturdy when sliding on clay or planting on hard courts to change direction. The Asics Gel Dedicate 5 does the job so far.
This is my 4th Asics tennis shoe - and third of this model. All have provided excellent performance, comfort and value - I recommend for all surfaces. The toe box is also reasonably roomy unless you have a very wide foot.
Lightweight comfortable show with no break in.. good support and traction on hard court
This shoe is lighter than my other adidas shoes. Playing tennis 5 days a week. I have doubt it will last 4 months.
comfortable, light weight, wonderful court stability and maneuverability and I enjoy wearing these shoes playing tennis. Thank You Midwest Sports for having a great selection and having a clearance, and the free shipping is Great!
These are great shoes. I am 55+ and play recreational tennis on hard courts. I used to feel pain on my right hip after 30-45 minutes of play wearing other brands but I can play 1.5 hours with these Asics with almost no pain. The gel really works.
Comfortable shoe, and lasts longer than average, in my opinion
These are really well made, sturdy shoes. The right one was a little tight at first, but I have wide feet and the right one more so than the left. They broke in during the first match I wore them and they've worn great ever since.
My son thought they were just OK. He thought they were too tight on the outside toes and had a bump on the sole underneath the big toe. Plus, they didn't even come w/a warranty like many other Asics.
These are my favorite tennis shoes I have ever owned. The toebox is roomy not like the upper end ASICS that I find long and narrow and require lots of break in. These are comfortable right out of the box.
excellent shoes
Never tried ASICS before. Others seemed to like them so I bought a pair. Sorry for the 3 but they were uncomfortable tight - even tho they were my size. So I never got to play in them. Exchanged them for ADIDAS.
Lightweight, stylish, snug fit but tends to stretch as you wear them, could use more padding if you play on hard courts.
These shoes are very comfortable and light. I wear them to work every day. The color is pretty too.
I've played with this shoe for 2 weeks now. Very light weight, that I wanted, and I feel it has very adequate stability for me. It feels good on the foot and fits as expected. So far, so good.
I like the style and color. The fit was extremely tight. if you like a more comfortable fit you may consider going up a half size.
This version is a bit tighter than the previous but still a great buy. Use aftermarket inserts and it is better than shoes twice the price.
My husband is very happy with these shoes. He plays tennis 3 to 4 times per week. He says they are very comfortable and cushion his feet where they should.
These shoes are awesome! I play about twice a week so I was looking for a shoe that would suit my needs, but I didn't need the most expensive product on the market. For the price of this shoe, the cushion and comfort can't be beat.
