Always wanted to have white tennis shoes and since I'm a lifelong believer in Asics and the amazing bottom comfort with my tennis and running shoes, it was a perfect timing to wear and to celebrate the upcoming Wimbledon tourney 2019! They feel incredible and feel broken in right out of the box!

Had purchased four pairs of Solution Speed 3 in a row and really like them. The Resolution 7 is very stiff and after multiple attempts to wear, always find both feet and knees hurting. Brand change coming.

With only two trips to the outdoor courts the shoes seem to have broken in already. The fit true to size and the grip is just fine. I wasn't really looking for another pair but they were 30% off and with the bday discount I couldn't pass them up. I would pick a different color if given the choice but I won't lose them.

These shoes provided excellent support and show little wear after 3 months. You need medium to narrow foot to wear comfortably. Wish they came in less intrusive colors, though

Have tried several clay models from Nike, Adidas and Fila... the Asics Gel Resolution 7 are my favorite clay court shoes. They have the full clay sole, and this to me is important for sliding on the court. They are very comfortable and last well.

I have purchased over 10 pairs of this shoe, usually bright yellow or red because they are on sale. Great shoe for my foot.

I went from adidas Barricades and love these shoes. Barricades are more supportive. Pros: The resolution 7 have good enough support but the insoles are like stepping on plush carpet. Excellent shock absorption. The top is very comfortable. You do need to lace them tighter to give you good support. Traction on hard court is excellent. Cons: The lace is a bit short for my lacing system to work. Needed an extra 5”. Due to the smooth material in the inner heel area, I need the lacing system to keep the heels from slipping, hence the need for longer laces.

I have been buying Asics tennis shoes for the last five years. I play singles on hardcourts three to four times a week. Since I'm sixty three and a former runner, I need all the cushioning can get. The shoes are extremely comfortable right out of the box, and hold up well. (Usually six months for me.) They, however and not bulky and keep me quick on my feet.

This is a great shoe! It fits like the Resolution 6. Highly recommended purchasing this shoe.

These have been shoes of my choice for a while now. They are great. I can't tell much difference in outsole from previous generations. However the top has gotten more flexible and breathable making the shoe comfortable. If you want durability without giving up on stability and comfort then this is the shoe for you.

We ordered this shoe in two sizes - my husband's usual shoe size, and one half size up, based on previous reviews citing narrowness of the shoe. My husband has a narrow to medium width foot as it is, and this shoe was still too tight for him width-wise. This one's going back.

If you have wide feet, do not purchase. Played three hours of outdoor racquetball yesterday and could barely walk afterwards. The sides of my feet are still hurting today.

I have been wearing the Gel Resolution series for a number of years. I play 4 times per week and the shoe holds up very well. Fits good little to no break-in time needed and the shoe gives great support.

I LOVE the look of these shoes. They are just perfect. The cushioning seemed decent, as well. I almost kept them, just because I loved the way they looked, so much. The problem is: my feet are not narrow, and these shoes ARE. Just a little bit wider and they would have been great. But they were narrow and hurt my feet. So I had to send them back. PLEASE make a wider shoe for people that need them! If they did, I would be all over these.

Really love these shoes. The cushioning makes it so easy on my joints. At 60 years old, my knees and ankles really appreciate a shoe that lets them play for prolonged periods with aching. And even the next day, I don't wake up all sore. The durability seems to be pretty good as well.

After years of bouncing from brand to brand, I've finally found my shoe! I've never tried Asics before, but I think they've nailed it. The Gel 7's are a great lightweight shoe with a solid sole. The 6 month guarantee makes these a no-brainer.

Tried these shoes on recommendation of another player. I have narrow feet and the shoes fit me well with my orthotic insert. There's a small break-in period to get to the point where you don't think about your feet slipping in the shoes. The heel isn't as snug as I'd hoped. Overall an excellent shoe. Already ordered another pair.

Love em. Comfort and good protection from hard court play, worth every penny. I like the 7's, lighter and more comfortable than the 6's, which I liked too. Looking forward to the 8's if this trend continues.

I have been wearing asics shoes for several years. Love the fit and comfort right out of the box. I play very aggressive and these shoes hold up well. Midwest sports is always my go to supply for tennis supplies.

Likes: Durable construction, excellent traction (no slipping on indoor court that often has slippery film on it), lighter weight than average. A bit of break-in necessary due to fit. Length is true to size, width is slightly narrower than normal for D width, but after six to eight hours these fit nicely. The toe box is a tad bit shallow which concerned me initially, but after break-in I foresee no problem. Dislikes: Durable build comes at the cost of a bit more warmth retention than would be the case with more mesh in the upper. The trade-off is that if more mesh is used, then durability suffers. My last pair of Asics Gel Solution Speed 2 were supremely comfortable, but the mesh & liner wore through in 12 months (average six hours indoor pickleball play per week w no off court wear). A bit more depth to toe box & bit more width would enhance comfort. Overall: I would buy these again & recommend them.

I am wearing the earlier Resolution shoe which came in a wider size, and I love it. Some commenters said this one had a wide fit, so I ordered it and hoped for the best. It was so narrow I could hardly squeeze my foot in. Very bad choice if you have wide feet.

Same great shoes as the Resolution 6's, but with added support and an upper that should prove more durable (especially in toe box - had personally experienced some wear and tear there in previous models). Color is great with a nice contrast between the ball yellow and navy blue

I have been using these about 2 weeks now and I am very happy with the results. I was having some Plantar Fasciitis issues and read in reviews of some relief. My symptoms are improving already. Little to no break in period and great traction on indoor pickle ball courts (I play 3 to 4 times a week). The shoes seemed stiff at first on the sides of my feet, due to the material used, but are comfortable now. I am usually eight and one half to a nine shoe size depending on shoe make. I ordered nines after reading some reviews of narrowing in the toe area and I have not experienced any problem with width or foot sliding in the shoes at all. These are my first true court shoe and I am sorry it took this long to pay a little more for much better results. I usually wear Asics shoes, but had bought a different brand of shoes with the memory foam insole thinking they would be better. I was definitely wrong and should have known better.

Love the feel, the support, the overall comfort and fit. Not too crazy about the "yellow", but doesn't hurt performance and does get noticed.

I use to buy whatever tennis shoe was on sale but a while back discovered Asics I will only use them..Basically the reasons are that they are light comfortable and durable!! I am a bit of a for dragger and these hold up better than any other I have tried!!

Gel Resolutions feel great -- overall good support. I use orthotic insoles for my own arch support. Shoes hold up well for my style of game -- lateral game and up to the net. Love the color!

I’ve been getting the gel resolutions for a few years now. Started with the 4’s or 5’s. I think the best version was the 6. Although Asics has improved the toe box area, they seem to be a bit more restricted in this area. Next time I will go up 1/2 size and see if this will lessen the restricted feel other than that, athey are bulletproof.

Great shoe for hardcourt tennis. Needs a little break-in but is true to size. My 12 mediums fit perfectly out of the box. Slight improvement over the Res. 6 model.

This shoe is comfortable, stable and durable. It is definitely the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned, and that cushiony ride is why I bought it. Its strength is also its weakness. I feel that the cushion takes away from responsiveness. Also, this shoe has inferior grip. On hard court, it just does not match my barricades. On clay, this shoe is a total disaster. Overall, this is an outstanding shoe, but more comfort than performance oriented. When I need maximum traction and responsiveness, I will wear my Novak Pro barricades.

After years of only playing in Adidas Barricades, I decided to try Asics. The fit of these shoes are a bit more snug in the toe box area, but I actually like this and love the support from heal to toe. I’ve been on court about 7 hours with these shoes so far and I don’t know if I’ll ever go away from Asics now.

Excellent stability but still light weight. Can run fast and change directions on a dime. Will repeat.

These are wider than most tennis shoes and very supportive. The sole is great for hard courts.

New colors in December have more room in the forefoot, addresses previous issue with Resolution 7 fit.

This is a comfortable shoe and I like the looks and fit. One weird thing.....the rubberized forefoot makes a popping sound with every step as it flexes and pops back with foot flection. Very annoying.

This shoe has great traction and keeps me moving throughout the match. It is very bright yellow, so don't order this if you are shy about wearing bananas on your feet. If you want a good tennis shoe, this is a good buy.

Been using Asics since Gel Resolution 3. Tried other pairs in between due to cost/ size concerns (Babolat and Diadora) but keep coming back to Gel Resolutions to correct the mistake, and with Midwest Sports’ fast customer service, I was wearing a GR7 in no time. Shoes not as narrow as some experience (which made me buy the Babolat - but that’s too wide), and comfortable right out of the box. I always look out for the coupon codes MW Sports sends out, and with the 6month outsole guarantee, play in great comfort throughout the year.

My third pair of this model and I love the stability. May feel stiff out of the box but gets broken in easily and isn’t as stiff as barricades are. Great shoe for quick starts and stops on the court. Never feels like my foot moves inside the shoe

Unfortunately, the Resolution 6 is being discontinued and I can't find it in my size anymore. The 7 is a little stiffer, but still quite wearable out of the box. I believe it will last longer than the 6 (I'm sure Asics doesn't want to get 6-month wear guarantee returns). I get good traction and stability when making sharp changes in direction (especially when opponent hits behind me), but most importantly, comfort with no blisters! Hope I can play often enough to test out the 6-month wear guarantee :-)

Asics’ outsole warranty is a big reason because if they don’t last, we get another pair. But if they do, the price was worth it then.

I am a past Barricade user but recently switched to Gel Resolution 7 and am now on my second pair.The break in period is longer than what I am used to but you get it all in this shoe.Good looks,stability and great comfort.

I have been a loyal ASICS purchaser for several generations. They have been the best tennis shoes on the market. Comfortable right out of the box and great wear characteristics. They messed it up with the new ASICS 7 series, They are now too tight in the toe box which is why many players left the Adidas Barricade series. Why mess with perfection ASICS???

The Asics Resolution has been my tennis shoe of choice since it's inception. The Resolution 7 is a sleeker, even more supportive and durable tennis shoe then the Resolution 6 it replaces. This is the very best tennis shoe in the market.

Liked the way the Resolution 6 fit and Asics has kept what I liked about the 6 in the new 7. Feels like the upper breaks more comfortably but without losing any stability. Too early to tell on durability but still has the 6 month outsole warranty. Like!
