I've tried every tennis shoe on the market and if these fit your feet well they are awesome. Asics 6 month warranty is good as well.
So far so good. This is the second pair of Gel Resolutions 6 I've owned. They seem to last much longer than other brands and lessor expensive shoes. They fit good and the soles hold up longer.
Needed new shoes for pickleball and these fit the bill. Very comfortable!
For heel and overall foot comfort and support, this is a winner. Four starts only because the upper mesh over time tears at the seam with the area of the middle laces. I've had to replace the shoe even though the sole is only about 1/4 worn.
Love the Asics Resolution shoe for Pickleball...
I am wearing out a Green Resolution 6 and sent off to ASICS for the new Res-7. After a day of Elementary PR classes my feet felt as though they were in a vice at days end in the new Res-7. I went online to see if I could locate anyone still carrying the Res-6. MidWest Sports came through!! I not only bought one pair, but two more. I'm hoping that these three pairs combined with what I have will get me through to retirement in five years. The Res-6 fits like a glove and absolutely no tired feet or legs at the end of each day teaching Elementary PE. I wish ASICS would have kept this style a little more. I ripped into them on their site about the RES-7 and they took my review off the site. I guess honesty doesn't count anymore.
This has been the go to shoe for me since the Res 5. Great for hitting clinic or tournament shoe!
very nice shoe... quick break in period, lasts decent and has a 6 month sole guarantee... a great buy. I've been buying this shoe for some time now and continue to be happy. The only minor issue is that if you properly use both lace holes at the top of the shoe, the laces are too short
Have been using Asics for years; wonderful shoe
The Gel Resolution 6 is a fantastic tennis shoe. My husband and I both independently chose it at the local tennis shop after trying on many shoes. It is very comfortable, lightweight, and stable. After our 1st pair wore out, we bought both the same model again. Now that model is replaced w/Resolution 7. I was able to find the Resolution 6 for Men here and bought hubby 2 pairs, but, sadly, Midwest doesn't have the Women's shoe. We love this shoe!
Great support and cushioning. This show takes my orthotics personally and feels like I can run all day on the court. Under a hundred is a good deal.
I play tennis 7 days a week and the gel asics does help reduce the impact on my knees. I brought 4 pairs
Light shoe with abundant cushioning and accurate fit. Almost as good as K Swiss defier though it lacks a leather upper, but is redeemed by more contemporary styling.
Asics Gel Resolution shoes are my shoe of choice. Great fit and comfort on court.
I have using asics for the the past year and a half and these are easily my favorite model. Light, good durability, and no break in time needed.
Good Shoes - great cushion
These shoes are lightweight but hold up very well. In AZ heat, they keep your feet cool. Great Pickleball shoes!
I like that the shoe is standard width and only requires 1/2 size up for a wide foot. This shoe is highly rated among the top tennis court shoes in 2017 and now I understand why. Sharp looks, comfortable, and very good stability on the outside to prevent sprains. Excellent shoe. 52 years old, I've been playing tennis 45 years. Began playing with my older brother and my mother when I was 6 years old.
I tried this shoe as an alternative to my usual choice, the Nike Vapor 9.5 Tour. Compared to the Nike, the Asics feels a little heavier, and I feel better support in the mid and fore foot areas. The Asics is longer in the toe area, but significantly narrower in the area around the metatarsals. So, this shoe fits me tight around the forefoot, but loose from heel to toe in my regular size. Therefore, be wary of reviews that say that this shoe runs a size higher or lower, as proper sizing depends on the shape of your foot. Fit issues aside, this seems like a very good, supportive shoe. Other notes: not much ventilation, and a little on the heavy side.
Only worn them a few times but so far they're great. Love the way they look, and they're very soft and comfortable.
I tried Asics first a couple of years ago. I had been wearing New Balance tennis shoes for about 10 years. I'm now a convert.
I've always worn Asics for running and finally decided to give the tennis shoes a try after trying just about all the other major brands. My only regret is not having switched to the Gel Res sooner. This shoe has everything you could want in a shoe starting with durability, comfort, stability and looks. I can't find any downsides.
Likes: Great heel support and cushion. can turn directions quickly without hurting toes Dislikes: None thus far Why I bought it: needed a new pair of shoes, previously with prince but now switched and i am never switching back
I'm a dude with a wide foot so, I used to be stuck with K-Swiss, Wilson and other less that optimal competitive court shoes. 2 years ago, I chucked my Babalot's for Asics Gel Resolutions. I buy them 2 pair at a time, especially when Midwest e-mails me they're on sale. Best competitive tennis court shoe I've ever worn the past 40 years...

Been a longtime Prince T22 loyalist. Just always been a good tennis shoe for me. Getting hard to find now though so I started to look at other options and landed on these based on the favorable reviews over the years re: Gel Resolution 3, 4, 5,...Been very happy with these. I measure at 9.5 D/E and ordered these in 9.5 D and they fit pretty well except for a little extra length at the tip. I decided not to exchange them for a 9 since I was worried the width might be an issue in the smaller size. My foot was already maxing out the width of the 9.5. In any event, I think these run ~.5 size long so if you are a true D width, so maybe keep that in mind when ordering. I bought the tennis ball yellow and navy blue ones because they were cheaper than the other colors but be prepared to hear it from your buddies. "It's a good thing you're a strong player, because you would look like a duff if you weren't and wore those." On changeovers, I would be told to change the batteries. You get the idea. It's alll been in good fun but if you are sensitive to these things, go for a different color. In any event, they are a little lighter/faster than the T22s and I like that the reinforced upper around the toe box is more complete. I would always eventually blow out my T22's in the same spots...the leather upper pieces between the sole and the mesh. Both shoes usually on the outside of my feet. I'm really hard on shoes though. This design should be better that way. Not sure about durability yet as they are only a few weeks old, but so far, so good. Recommended with the notes about length and color.
Too Narrow. NOT true to fit. I've owned several Asics shoes including prior Resolution models, but this one is too tight and narrow in mid section. Also, heel feels unstable, unlike other models. Toe area is tighter too. Bad fit on this one Asics.
I buy these for my son. He likes them a lot, says they are very comfortable and supportive. His feet are growing so fast and I have to buy bigger sizes frequently. These have held up so well that he sizes up before they wear out. He used to go through 2 pair of Nike's before he sized up. Now just one shoe. Thank you!
These shoes did not disappoint. Excellent traction and still very forgiving, unlike other shoes I do not feel foot pain!
great shoe!! one of the best i have tried. great stability and cushioning.
I've bought 6 pairs of these so far and they work great. Hopefully they didn't change too much in the GR 7 because this shoe may get hard to find eventually.
I had a 6 month recovery period from plantar fasciitis after wearing another company's shoe. I gave the Gel Resolution 6 a try and couldn't be happier! Great arch support and the size 10 fits true to size. The soles of my first pair lasted a solid 9 months of playing hard court tennis and racquetball three days a week. The uppers are still in great shape, so I have retired them for walking and bought another pair of 6's for play.
This is an outstanding shoe. Stable, comfortable, durable. Not the lightest around but you can't have stable, comfortable and durable with super-lightness. And not even particularly ugly!
Everything about the shoe is good, except inside the heel, the material wears out very fast. The result is a hole in the material. This happens on every pair I buy.
Excellent show - perfect fit, very comfortable, nice comfortable insole - I have several times had plantar fasciitis and issues with big toe, but feel absolutely comfortable playing in these shoes. I am a 4.0 player and typically play on hard court 3 to 5 times a week.
I starting to using these Gell Resolution since 2005 when two other popular BrandName Tennis became pool quality and poor customer services. They failed to honor defective Tennis shoes after first used on Tennis Court less than 1.5 weeks old. Very devastating when they rejected the expensive Tennis shoes they claimed 6 months warranty. Never again, I should spend a pennies from such company. Asics America was introduced to at the same time I told my Tennis friend the unpleasant experienced with other Tennis shoes manufactures. The very time making the purchased was expensive, but got some discount from reward points, that was big saving for me. From that point on until now, I had made a very happy purchased Asics Gel Resolutions Series. My Podiatry Doctor recommending me continues to using The Asics Gel Resolution Series. My left foot had Neuroma, that was not going away until I agreed minor medical surgery. I only hoping that Asics America still doing well and lasting a company. At first, I was not interesting in going to write anything, because writing in here only helped company.
I have been using these shoes for 3 years, I switched from Adidas, and have noticed less stress on my feet and legs. I like the support and little to no break-in, only little tweak ii would kike to see is a more stable toung that does not shift.
The Asics Resolution 6 is the very best tennis show I have owned. Incredible foot support and long lasting sole . Best ever tennis shoe.
Several members at our club, including me, developed plantar issues with a different brand - and switched to Asics Gel Resolution. I'm on my 4th pair - LOVE them! I play 3.5 level USTA and am on the court about 7 hours a week. The soles last the longest of any shoe I have used.
I have multiple foot issues and bought this shoe as it was recommended for people with foot problems. This shoe is supportive and flexible no issues thus far I would recommend it to others
Love this shoe.
Due to a hammer toe, I need a shoe that won't irritate the tops of my toes. These Asics fit the bill in that regard. In addition, they are rather light weight and provide great support. This is my second pair of Asics and I couldn't be happier!
Loved this shoe. Superior comfort, durability and cushion!! Would buy again.
I would definitely recommend this shoe to anyone. Most comfortable and cushioned shoe I have worn!
this shoe rocks!!!
Comfortable, stable shoe. Would buy again!
I like the finishing..
Just got 'em. Haven't even worn 'em yet. Why are you asking for me to write a review when I just got them?
Great shoes for paddle & tennis. Have gone through dozens of tennis shoes. These are simply the best overall shoe I've found.
All things i buy in Midwest, are the best deal! I love it!
I BOUGHT MY 73 year old husband a pair of resolution 6 tennis shoes for fathers day. He won all 3 games on sunday and said the extra cushion gave him bounce in his step. I plan to buy more of asics products
i love it
For a while I've been searching on the Internet for the shoe that's as close to perfect as possible for every aspect, and settled on the gel res6. I felt plush cushion straight out of the box and they aren't nearly as heavy as my previous barricades. The tough outsole has kept its traction and durability since I've bought it almost a month ago, I plan on buying another pair once these ones go for sure
Most comfortable Asics Resolution yet. 6 months wear and still stable and well cushioned. I play 3-4 times a week and can say these shoes have helped my old knees and hips.
Fan of Asics running shoes and really like the tennis shoes for paddle as well. This is my second pair.
Color, fit, durability all exceptional!
I really like this shoe. Very comfortable. No break in needed.
I love this shoe. I have been wearing this shoe (4, 5, 6 versions) for the past several years!! 8 pairs and counting! Comfort, traction, durability and looks cool!
Had to make a switch from a discontinued Babolat model. Asics has unbelievable grip in hard courts surface for quick stop/start. Great comfort and fit...
My 3rd set of Asics tennis shoes. They feel like running shoes but hold up to the stresses of tennis. This pair was narrower than previous. No problem for me with narrow foot, but be forewarned.
Asics shoe are the best for my feet. I agree that it's a bit on the narrow side, but that's not an issue for me. I always chose size 10 for Asics and the fit is just perfect. High quality for sure and the color combinations never disappoint.
Really like the shoe. Hard to find stability , comfort, and nice style shoe all in one.
The reason that buy these shose is they are monfils's shoes. He is my favorite star. At glance, It looks very nice and good quality. I have bought one more.
I have bought two pairs. But I want to buy one more because it is such a comfortable shoe!
Bought these shoes to help with sore feet (dislocated toe) and these were a perfect fit - good cushioning and stable foot support.
I think I will send back because they are small in length. I did like the extra support for the arch.
I've used Adidas Barricades and Prince T10's. They are pretty good shoes you would agree. When I first tried Asics Gel Resolutions (4's?) I first noticed they were lower to the ground. They also felt like the thinner sole gave me a bit more impact to the foot. Where was the gel? After using them just a short time I was amazed. Hey they do manage to absorb the impact of the hard courts pretty well. ( come on, no shoe can absorb the shock of hard court!) even at my age, I play a lot of tennis and I go through shoes a lot. As the iterations of the Gel Resolutions have evolved Asics has done a magnificent job in improving the shoe in every facet . The latest are wearing the best, giving me the contact with the court perfectly and their comfort and design is going to be hard to improve going forward. No, I don't think I will ever go to another shoe. If someone says this to you, I would be interested in trying them. The last of the shoe is good for my foot. If it fits the shape of your foot you will like them. Period.
i need a shoe with room in the forefoot. these did not work for me
they are not light, but they are the best cushioned shoe out there
The Gel Resolutions are as good as it gets. Very comfortable right out of the box, plenty of support for side to side movement, and somewhat low to the ground. In my opinion (and I am very picky when it comes to my footwear), the Resolutions are the best tennis shoes out there.
It fits me perfect . No break in on my foot & good performance with it.
This is clearly the best shoe I have purchased. I have have been playing tennis for many years. The comfort and durability is no match to any other shoe on the market.
Best tennis shoes in a great looking blue
Heard amazing things about the resolution line hence with all the great deals for the holidays decided to order resolution 6. Most importantly it runs LARGE!!! Dont believe the description it runs 1/2 size large so if you're a 10 order 9.5!!!!! Second it requires a painful break in period, wore it for 3 days and still suffered so don't play a match on first day. Lastly, good support but not great, no better than the solution line and heavier. My picks for best stability: adidas barricade 7(Novak pro), Lotto Raptor, Nike Ballistec 4.3, Diadora K-star.
This is my third ASCIS tennis shoes and definetely will not change my selection in the short term. The comfort and durability is great. Highly recommended.
I've been a dedicated Asics wearer since high school track, and the tennis shoes that Asics makes are the most comfortable I've tried, and I've bought almost all of them. This one is no exception.
This is my third ASCIS tennis shoes and definetely will not change my selection in the short term. The comfort and durability is great. Highly recommended.

i have had the shoes 2 weeks and played several times in them. They fit great out of the box and only got better. I found that they were not as wide as the normal "medium with" which is REALLY great for me with a narrow foot. I think I have found my go to shoe.
Everyone has different feet and different needs , but the Gel Resolution VI fits mine to a "T". Excellent comfort right out of the box, and my orthodics don't put me up too high. Good traction and the cushioning helps my 61-year old knees on hard courts.
This is very comfortable shoes from the first day I wear out of the box. The uppers flexed with my feet from the get-go. I have come to expect only the best from Asics when it comes to cushioning.
Comfort, performance, and looks all combined into this shoe. If you liked the Gel 5 (which I do), you'll love this model.
These shoes are good to go out of the box. They are lightweight and easy to move around the court. My feet feel good after wearing them and I think they take some stress off my knees. Nice shoes!
Love these. They fit great right out of the box, albeit a little stiff, but walking around in them for a few hours broke them in. Now, they fit like a glove. Love the fit, love look, and they're really built to last. Don't forget that these come with a 6-month durability guarantee for the outer sole.
Very comfortable with good shock absorption. Seems to run a little smaller than the previous model. I seem to be replacing these every 8 months because they start to wear out on the soles and lose their shock absorption. Still functional but I need as much shock absorption as I can get for my damaged knees
Great shoe! It has the stability of the resolution 5 and the comfort of the speed solution 2. Asic has figured it out. Best tennis shoes I've owned. Played 4 sets of doubles after getting these shoes and could've played 5. Time will tell how they will hold up, but I love them so far.
This my first pair of ASICS ever. What made me purchase them? I read a review on the net. At 53, I've put in a lot of hours on the court over the years. As a result, my feet are killing me. So, I needed a comfortable pair of shoes or give up the sport. I found it!!! So, much so that I bought a 2nd pair. It feels good to be playing again without pain. Love the shoe!!
The shoe is true to size, easy to break in, plays very well. It made a squeaky noise on the court and my coach said all the better tennis shoes make that noise. I am really pleased with this purchase.
Very comfortable Especially since I have flat feet
EXCELLENT as usual from Asics. Other than these shoes running a quarter size large they're perfect in every way. Great cushioning, glove like feel around the foot, and low to the ground. Frequent compliments on the looks as well.
This is my fifth asics pair. Always feel good wearing them.
The lineage continues - Great shoe for me as a 5.5 tennis player, lots of support, no break-in - super comfortable.
Quality shoe that holds up to 12+ sets per week for 3 or 4 months
