these are great looking shoes, haven't worn them for pickleball yet, but can't wait. I do think they run a bit small. I wear a 10.5 and probably need an 11. They are a big short but i'm afraid the 11 will be too big.
Best fitting shoe! Read review and purchased 1/2 size up. Comfortable and breathes w/no sweaty feet! Great price at Midwest Sports!
What a perfect fit and made my feet move swiftly on the court. I purchased additional two pairs of NIKE FLARE 2 HC WOMENS TENNIS SHOE to alternate wearing them because now I play three times a week in an average of three hours every week on a hard and hardthru court. My feet are wide and flat footed. I wear size 7, half to one inch bigger than my actual size. Very comfortable and light shoes; perfect for fast and ease of movement on the tennis court. Thank you MidwestSports.com!
Stylish, breathable, good support, great grip, lightweight! Everything I wanted in a court shoe.
Love this shoe. I wear the Nike Metcons and like those a lot too. This shoe reminds me of a barefoot style shoe. It is light and supportive. With other shoes, my knee is really sore after playing (I play 3-4 times a week). My knee doesn't hurt after wearing this shoe. It hits the bottom of my ankle and rubs just a little, otherwise it would have gotten 5 stars.
I waited for this Flare 2 to go on sale. Bought it and wore it once for doubles and Couldn’t wait to get them off. I was thinking about the pain near my ankles and not my game. Tried to slip them on the next day to wear around the house to help “break them in” and realized I was badly bruised from the shoe. So on the shelf it sits. Couldn’t return because worn once. I own 8 pairs of the Flare 1’s and they were the best shoe for my game and my foot. My feet tend to roll to the outside and the flare 1’s put me at neutral, supported my ankles, kept me low to the ground so it was impossible to “fall off” the edge of the shoe, and weighed almost nothing. These flare twos are so terrible I don’t think I will even wear them casually. I wish Nike never called them by the same name because none of the technology from the first generation showed up in the Flare 2.
Returned as not fit. Disappointed by it construction as "sitting on the bones" and not flexible combination of materials. Also, they are too flat as slippers.. Not good for my run and moves on the court and gym room ...
Great mix of intimidating and stylish! Lightweight, comfortable, hard-working tread.
The side of the shoe was rubbing my inner ankle bone while I was playing on both feet. It was hurting very baldly and after 2 hours of play, the ankle skin was rubbed off and left red marks. I don't think I can't return these shoes because I have already worn them. I would like to be able to return them. I never had any issue like this with any of my past sneakers except these.
I loved the feel. It fits like a glove and is VERYYY comfortable. The only thing is that it runs a liiiiitle small, and I have to use it with thinner socks than I normally play with.
Light weight shoe with snug fit. Very nice, but runs a 1/2 size smaller than most other Nike tennis shoes I've worn.
This shoe is very comfortable. It fits like a glove. I would only get this if you have a normal/narrow width foot. It is not very durable, but I think this is due to being lighter weight.
