Great hat for the money but had to return. The breathable mesh doesn’t block the sun on your upper forehead. Had to buy another brand’s bucket hat as it had a clearly defined front with upf fabric running up the forehead. This hat is unidirectional, leaving your forehead exposed through the tiny holes, no matter how you wear it.

I love it because it’s stylish, it adds sun protection and it doesn’t obstruct my vision while playing tennis.

I'm 6'4", 185 lbs and my wife says that this hat looks like I'm wearing a child's hat. She's 5'6" 115 lbs and it looks pretty cute on her. It's her hat now and I'm still searching for a tennis hat. The fabric in the brim is several layers thick, so it would have a decent SPF factor, but the fabirc in the crown is only one layer thick. Good for breathability, but it is literally clear. You could read bold print through it, so baldys take note: I'd say the crown of this hat has an SPF factor to the left of an old wet T-shirt. Also, the hat is floppier than it appears in the photos. It looks more like a Gilligan's Island floppy bucket hat. Maybe if it were pressed with a bunch of spray starch it could look like the one in the photo.

I like the style as a old bald guy it gives me a certain pizazz when out in the public with my business suit. Besides it protect my bald head from the rays of the sun.

I was searching for such a hat to replace a very worn one that my husband has had tor years, and this one was just right! It fits him comfortably, looks good on him, and gets worn almost every time he goes out of the house.

I sail a lot and it's perfect. covers your ears and nose, without blowing off. And it's a perfect "air conditioner." Too hot? Just soak it in water and you're good to go!

Very cool, comfortable and protective. It’s 2 Inch brim is perfect for serving and protecting sun from neck and ears. My previous 3 inch brim cap was a bit too floppy and distracting in the front.

Love this hat! I'm 5 ' ll"" and the large size fits perfectly. Ordered a large and medium, because I wasn't sure which would fit best. My wife liked it so much she kept the medium for herself. Great ventilation for cooling and excellent sun protection. Really superior to the ball-type caps that most wear (myself included in the past). The aussies had it right!

The hat didn't fit my big head so I was going to return it. My wife tried it on and promptly claimed it.

It is indeed an old-school, Aussie style hat. If you are a fan of that style hat, you will like it. I’ve got a big noggin, but the XL size fit generously. Only reason for four stars over five is because the underside of the brim is white, instead of a non-reflective green that I’ve seen in a few hats. But, for the price, it is a winner.

Wore it today, 1st time. It was awesome. It stayed on for the full 90 minutes of singles play. Even got a few comments from others from nearby court on the fashionable nature of it. And by the way, I am 65 years old, and it brought back memories of me using this type of Aussie hat when I played tournaments when I was 12. So all around, excellent experience.

Great Hat that is comfortable and fits well.

Very comfortable, light weight, runs true to size. Would give it a 5 rating except it didn’t wick moisture as well as expected...my head was soaking wet after 3 sets! My goal was to protect my scalp and ears from sun and it did that comfortably.

I bought this hat for Pickleball. This hat awesome! Shields my face, neck and ears from the sun and doesn't interfere with my vision. The built in sweatband works well. The hat should come with an optional ponytail opening, I sew, so I was able to add an opening for my ponytail!

I really like this Aussie hat.The baseball caps I've been wearing I think interfere with the vision of my service toss, so if I remember I turn my hat backward..nit necessary with this hat. Also protects my ears from sun damage..which I'm constantly dealing with.

These hats were routinely worn by tennis pros and players in the past. I remember seeing all the old Australian players and I believe Stan Smith also used it. I can't figure out why it went out of vogue. It does a great job of shading your eyes and also serves as a headband. Everyone should have it in their bag!

yeah a great hat, old timey. Hard to get. I remember a guy wearing one all weekend long down at the club where he played tennis, back in the sixties. Honestly I do not understand baseball caps unless you are dermatologist. Thanks for making the hat available.

I ordered a large and an X-large, the x-large is on back order and I have not received it yet. I really like the look and ligtweight construction but the large was too small for me to wear so I gave it to my wife. It's almost too small for her also. I would have given it 5 stars if it were truer to size

This will protect the head against the sun much better than a baseball cap. This hat is excellent while playing tennis. The ears, neck and forehead are all protected. The hat dose not blow off in high winds and is excellent for serving. I just had skin cancer surgery. NO MORE BASEBALL CAPS FOR ME! I now own three of these hats.

Excellent tennis hat. But the biggest size is only XL and it is too small for my XXL head. I am considering snipping the internal headband to try to make it fit. But if that doesn't work my purchase is useless.

Great hat! Comfortable, washable. However it is not clear that the crown is protected from sun. Crown material seems to be somewhat porous and the description of the hat mentions the brim as offering sun protection for ears and neck. What about the head?

I bought two of these and they are okay...however, I am looking for bucket tennis hats that were very common decades ago with a wider brim and green in color on the underside.

Great hat. Size XL fits my 7 1/2 head well, not too snug. Size L was a little tight. I wear it all the time - on the court for teaching, at the beach, around town, whatever. I don't wear it for "serious" play. Throw it in the wash and it comes out like new every time. Retains its shape even if you fold it up and toss it in your tennis bag.

Hi - This may not make you look fashionable, but it does a great job of keeping the sum off you. It is also compact enough that it does not fall off or distract you from playing tennis. I recommend it for playing in strong sun

Ordered the smallest and it's just a little big for my 7 year old. Product looks good but would like it offered in smaller sizes.

Only type hat to afford total sun protection and un interrupted view of ball during service toss. Midwest one of few outfits that understands what a true tennis hat is.Laver won 2 Grand slams in it and most companies dont carry it.Go figure! Good for Midwest! Coolest Aussie hat made.

This tennis hat looks even better than the picture. It is very well constructed. Unlike some mesh hat this one feels solid and retains its shape.
