I've strung racquets for years and play senior level national tournaments. String has good playability and pocketing. Durability is not good. So i hybrid this this string with Tecnifibre in mains and a soft 17 gauge synthetic gut string like Prince Lightning Pro in crosses. Same great feel with much better durability!!

String has similar feel to gut and is easy on your arm!

Technifibre nrg 2 is the best multifilament string on the market. Excellent feel and power makes this a top rated choice. I am a USPTA Elite Professional.

I have been stringing my racquets with Technifibre NRG 2 17G for over five years. It has decent spin-producing bite, is easy on my elbow and has decent durability for a 17G multi-filament string.. I have tried a few other, lower cost strings lately in one racquet or the other with fair results, but am sticking with NRG 2.

I am a 4.5 USTA men's doubles player and have been using the Tecnifibre NRG2 17 gauge strings for several years. This is a great multi-filament string that is arm friendly, while providing great feel and control for shot-making. I play with a Dunlop 300 tour and string at about 52# tension. I hit with a lot of topspin and get pretty good wear from the strings, which will begin to fray. I've had elbow issues in the past due to using stiffer stringsets; switching to the NRG2 has helped to remove any tennis elbow pain. I highly recommend these for overall performance and comfort.

Ever had elbow or any kind of arm pain???? I did.... but when I switched to either Technifibre NRG2 or Bi Phase, my arm problems left forever. And both have plenty of power and control.... they are not the most durable, but considering how good they are on my arm, I'll accept the less durable side to them!!!!!!

Put this on a Yonex V-Core 97G330 (with a little extra weight) at 53lbs. I was taught to try and carry the ball as long as possible and the feel of this string is great for that. Even late hits that you have to muscle though still feel in control. We'll see how long 17G lasts but I'd down to occasional recreational play now so it should be fine.

Super shoulder friendly strings. Had them strung in my Volkl & wow what a combo. Love everything about these strings & will not be changing it up anytime soon.

I used Wilson NXT 17ga for years and really liked it. I need a soft playable string because I tend to get tennis elbow. I play with a Wilson BLX 118 racquet. I am a 3.5 player and play 3-4 times per week. NXT had a tendency to fray quickly and I was constantly breaking strings. On advise from the Pro as the club I switched to NGR 17ga. I like it much better then the NXT an although it will start to fray eventually it does last longer and I no longer break strings. It also is more playable. I string my racquet at 60lbs. and I have good control with this string along with excellent playability.

NRG2 and BiPhase are two favorite strings for junior age daughter. Easy to work with for restringing.

I'm a 4.0 playing 2-3 times a week. Some strings cause pain in my elbow but not the NRG2's. Great control. Loses tension after about 8 hours of play and usually breaks after about two weeks. Have gone to try other more durable strings but end up coming back.

I recently tried the 18 gauge of this string and loved it. I bought another pack of the 17 because it lasts a bit longer...This is ONE GREAT STRING

SOFT AND EASY ON THE ARM. ALMOST GUT PERFORMANCE.

I use this as part of a hybrid bed to complement a good syn gut. It's lively and easy to use in my stringer and has good longevity.

Biphase 16G ... Good feel and pretty durable. Much easier on the elbow as advertised. My string of choice from now on

Great string in every respect. Very good feel and more durable than you would think for 18g. Better than gut in installation and over all production.

I use NRG2 18g in the crosses with Pro Supex Big Ace Micro (19g) in the mains and it provides me with a silky smooth blend of power, control and playability I haven't been able to replicate with any other multi - including Biphase. Compared to Biphase, NRG2 feels more plush and doesn't require the break-in period the former requires. It's silky smooth from your first stroke and when it settles in, it's so nice. Durability for my setup, despite the thin gauge, is pretty impressive in my POG 100's with a 16x19 pattern. Love this stuff.

Great string aside from the expensive price. Has good power and feel but durability is just ok (typical for a multifilament). I use at as the cross strings with a poly in the mains.

This is the best string for feel and spin that I have ever played with. Very responsive and with a 16X18 string-patterned racquet, it gets great bite. For an 18 guage string it has very good durability.

Terrific string and arm friendly. The natural seems a bit softer than the black. I prefer the natural. String at mid + 2 or 3 for a great feel. My string of choice. The 17G also has a bit more feel than the 16G. Best multi I have found. My other half now uses it and prefers it over a Babalot Natural Gut / Luxilon ALU power Combo. I am a 3.5 player. Swing away!

For the price, this is the best multi-filament string on the planet. Great feel and durability is better than expected.

Love this string, have had elbow problems for years, only string I have used that has helped relieved the soreness. Also had to change Racquets. Best Racquets are Prince.

Let's start with the positive. This string has great feel and control. It gives me a feeling of being in complete control all the time. For power, I would give it an average mark and same for spin. The 17 gauge strings definitely get more bite than larger strings, but not sure it has a lot to do with the string itself. I would recommend these strings for older players that play a placement game.

After a few years of hitting w/ polyester strings (RPM Blast, Tier One Firewire), I contracted tennis elbow. As a result, I switched to the X-One BiPhase strings. Very soft, gut-like string. Xlnt for arm pain. Nice touch. But nowhere near the power and spin of poly. That's the trade-off. Would likely be good to mix w/ a soft poly in a hybrid fashion.

The best synthetic gut tennis string which I have played

Very responsive string on my Prince Hybrid Hornet, however with topspin strokes, doesn't last long as with most multifiliments.

I had tennis elbow for about a year, but i never wanted to stop playing. This string was the easiest on my arm. It also gave me the playability i needed.

I give it 8 out of 10. Tested 17g. Playability 9, power 7, comfort 6, durability 10, topspin 7. Good strings however behave way better at tension under 56 lbs (would recommend 48-52 lbs)

My stringer recommended Tecnifibre TGV when I was experiencing some arm issues. It's a very comfortable string. And I am also impressed with the durability.

This string is one of my favorite multi string. I often switch to poly/syn gut (multi) set up depending on my arm feeling. When I need to go back to multi/syn gut set up, this string is the choice for main. It feels crisp and flush!

I use this in my crosses with Pro Red in the mains great combo. Plenty of power and control only these strings do break after about a wk to 10 days of play.

This is the best string I have ever had on my head radical mp. You can apply as much top spin or slice from the technifibre black code as needed. It gives you some extra pop on your serve as well. I will never switch away from it to even try another string.

Black code & luxilon are my two favorites... use in my 325... Tipsy endorsed this one last year and now I think Razor code... Although a little less bite than ALU Rough... it holds tension much longer. Love Tecnifibre

My son is 11 and plays with this string because of the playability, control, power, and most importantly arm friendly qualities of this string. It does fray and break faster than any string I have seen. But, it is so well worth it. My son gets about 20 to 30 hours before they break. I used to only use poly string and after buying a stringer to keep up with my sons string breaking, I tried it. Wow, I was so amazed. First, the serve. Spin, check, placement, check, power, check. Groundstrokes same with the added touch of being able to drop or lob. Net was also better with angles and just great pop. I highly recommend any serious player to try this string, and you will see all of these instant improvements. Unless your Nadal, which I assume you are not, stick to this multifilament and stay away from poly.

I use it to restring racquetball racquets and is very durable and playable.

I like the feel, comfort and power combined with this string. Easy on my arm and elbow. It helped improved my game and produces a lot of spin. I used it for my Babolat Pure Drive French Open Racket. Definitely I would recommend it to anybody who wants to improved their game.

Good power and touch, but not as durable as other multifilaments I've used. I prefer the Kirschbaum Touch because of $$ and durability. Good cross string for a hybrid (ie 4G or RPM Blast)

I have tried all kinds of polyesters (luxilon, Wilson, babolat), but the Black Code is my favorite. I use 18g, so that in combination with the shape of the string makes for big time spin in a hybrid. Its also the softest polyester I've played with, so its great for preventing arm/wrist problems. And it seems to have adequate durability. I'm sure a 16g holds up longer, but I play 3+ times a week at a 5.0 level and might break 2-3 per year. Most of the time the crosses of the hybrid break first. Excellent string- a little pricey, but its worth it.

I've tried out all kinds of multifiliments (nxt, sensation, nrg2, silent partner) and none has the feel of the biphase. I think it actually has better feel than even a nat gut (Wilson). I have used 18g biphase both in a hybrid and by itself. I loved the feel of it by itself, but durability is a problem. One set I had broke 3 games into a match. So now I use it with black code 18g in a hybrid and I love it!

best synthetic tennis string ever, perfect feeling and touch

Looking for control like NXT but was popping strings every 2-4 hrs. Didn't like Big Banger or RPM as lost feel- like Head Gut PPS for pop and control, but needed to switch when I was playing 6 hrs/day as was breaking around 10 hrs. This has endurance (14 hrs) and control- lose some power compared to the Head, but I didn't need.

Read online reviews, seemed to get very positive ratings. Have only tried it once but seems like a very good overall string.

The string is an excellent value and plays very similar to the gamma synthetic gut, but at a lower price. The lower cost does allow me to play around with string tensions without worrying too much about price. I also string my own rackets, about 1 per month, I play about 3 - 4 times per week.

I've used this string for 8 years, and every time I try another string, I go back to it. Natural gut feel at an affordable price. Much more forgiving on elbows and wrists than poly strings.

Comparable to most of the top of the line multifilaments but at a reduced cost. Very soft and elastic. Tons of power, soft on the arms, but will not last very long. Overall a great string and worth trying.

Lasts at least 4 rounds of 2 hour play. Feel is excellent. Super comfort. Not overpowering. Dumped poly due to shoulder pain, but even without the shoulder issues I would have made the switch back to a multifilament, and this is at the top of what I've tried. Tried the 17g and 18g, 18g wins for spin. Groundstrokes are pinpoint, volleys are solid. I'm a big hitter, with lots of topspin.

My daughter using this string in the crosses with the Luxilon 4G 16L mains. Great Hybrid combination with power and control.

I like this sting. I have a lot of arm issues and the string is soft enough to be easy on my tennis elbow and shoulder. It wears quickly, but that is to be expected, I guess to get the playability.

Tried 17 gauge first: strung at 60, but not enough pop on serves and strings broke too soon. Switched to 16 gauge at 55, plenty of power and excellent spin. Most importantly, no more sore elbow or shoulder or wrist, gone because of the soft, gut-like feel of this superb string. Buy it!
