I can definitely tell the difference when I started using this dampener over others. There is no vibration, and it seems to make my strings a little tighter too. Definitely helps my hitting.

Great quality, no breakage issues

It's thin and spreads across the racket, ensuring that a (way) off center strike won't be affected by it. Even these eventually break or have one side of it come loose from the strings.

I prefer the "worm" type of absorber. It never flies out of the racket, and it provides great shock-dampening coverage. I bought these because after 2 years, the ones I had finally broke. I like these better than the Gamma absorbers too.

Better than anything else out there. Has not torn, has not broken and is fairly easy to place at the bottom of the string bed. Goes across almost all the mains and that is the important point to reduce vibration.

Got elbow or shoulder problems? I'd probably add this to the recommendation to keep your strokes easy and your warmups on until your sweating.

Easy to install and very good dampening effect from the Head Smartsorb Vibration Dampener. I weave it through the bottom of the main strings, just below the last cross. It eliminates that "pinged" sound and provides some comfort...plus it doesn't come off like some of the others do.
