Solid racquet...

A very good racquet, especially considering the reasonable price. A little more head-heavy than my current racquet, but still quite maneuverable. All I play is senior men's doubles. Thus no exotic equipment required 🙄

This racquet was recommended by my tennis coach. I just started playing tennis at age 44, I’ve loved it so far!

Lovely Racket
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

It gave me just what i am looking for. Better Power, Swinging ease and it came at great price. The String however is not upto the mark and loosened up with just few games. To save time, would recommend having custom stringing during the purchase itself The 5th star is for the excellent service from the TennisPoint team and esp Steve. This will be go to place for future Tennis purchases.

Absolutely fantastic racquet! The weight, the stringing, the way this ball spins off of the racket is phenomenal! Head brackets are absolutely fantastic when they are made like this! Highly recommend this for any level player! No wonder Novak Djokovic uses Head racquets!! It makes you feel like you can win every point, of every set, of every match!

Really good "bat" for intermediate/advanced player. Nimble, very little vibration, can hit all manner of shots especially at net. Strung with synthetic gut at 54 lbs.

I’ve been playing tennis forever and needed a little change. Demo’d one of these and liked it. Bought 2 of them. Great sale price. Really like the feel.. Im a 4.0 and it just suits my game... it’s a fairly light racquet which I like.. I feel like I can hit with my usual pace and have control too. Happy with my decision to go with this racquet.

Enjoy lighter head as I come through the ball and felt strong spin response. Had no issues with elbow or shoulder discomfort. Volleys were responsive and generates strong topspin on serves

Solid frame, easy at the net. A little light in weight, so player needs to make up with racquet speed to generate power

Tons of Power
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I demoed all of the racquets in the Speed line and in the end it was down to the MP and the S. I ultimately decided the S fit my game better because I like to hang back at the baseline and hit mostly topspin shots cross court. This racquet is very spin friendly with the open string pattern which allows me to hit out on the ball even more. It feels very maneuverable and stable on the court. This racquet allowed me to hit harder and deeper when I needed it, too. I would say this is an excellent racquet for anyone looking for some added power, control and spin to their game. I strung mine with Head Hawk at mid tension and it felt perfect.

Lightweight & manueverable
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Went out and demoed the Speed S & the Speed Pro to really find out the comparison of the two. Very noticeable difference between the two, and the Speed S fit my game better. This is a spin friendly, lightweight maneuverable frame. I really could swing fast and powerful with this frame. I had trouble with arm fatigue when I went out and played with the Speed Pro. Hits that didn’t connect the large 16x19 sweetspot, were pretty stable with minimal vibrations.

I loved this racket! It was so perfect. I would say this helped with power and control. Wouldn't recommend it for beginners. It made me feel so comfortable playing. Loved it!

Compared to the XT Speed, the S plays much better. The open string pattern gives you better spin and control...and easier on the arm.

Tour De Force of modern racket technology
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I am a 4.0-4.5 all around player, serve big and mixed, stay on baseline if I can, move up when opportunity is there. Also play doubles so get to serve/volley plenty. Played with Head Radical OS frames since mid 90's. Last switch was in 2004 from Ti (10.4 oz, 295 swing weight, 55 stiff) to Liquid Metal (11.2 oz, 330 swing weight, 65 stiff). As I am aging (55 now) felt I'd lost ability to snap through groundies, and some volley agility was missing. Decided to try new racket tech, went looking for something a little lighter, and a little lower swing weight, and a little stiffer. Not leaving Head, though am pretty sure could have found something with Babolat. Did normal racket search for lower weight, sw, and about the same stiffness. Found a few, but no true OS (radical is 107). This graphene xt speed s comes in at 100. Also 10.7 oz, 66 stiff, and 318 sw. So overall in direction I wanted to go. Strung it up with Prince syngut duraflex 17 at 55#. Note to old guys, better grommet design and hole layout makes these a breeze to string. Double width for shared holes! What a time to be alive. Made no other adjustments - straight factory. Took it out for a singles match (evenly matched) with no prior practice or drill, and proceeded to hit shots I'd not been able to access in 10 yrs, mostly sharp cross court forehands and hard cut slice serves. Stunned by difference an ounce and a little sw and modern tech made. Really impressive. Lost a little stability on backhand, but improvements from head speed and agility more than made up for that. Time will tell if wear and tear on arm or shoulder are an issue, but it really felt comfortable on this first outing. Strongly recommend. Will be picking up a backup upon first sale.

Excellent Racquet!
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I got this racquet as an upgrade from the Head Radical Team MP and instantly fell in love with it during the demo. I'm not an expert tennis player by any measure, but to me it stood head and shoulders above the competition in feel, control, and depth. Transition from a 280g racquet to a 285g one was seamless. The Speed S gave me a lot of penetration on my deep shots without losing control. I was able to push back my opponents and they had less time to react to my shots. I was also able to give it more spin when I needed to and only had a short transition period where some shots went a little long. It is very responsive at the net and feels good on serves. This is an excellent racquet for those looking to add a little bit more pace to their game without sacrificing control. The graphene construction feels great and it's a joy to hit with it. Definitely recommended, but mind the strings.

A great compromise between power and feel
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I went to this after a few months with the Graphene Speed MP. That racket has great plow through on ground strokes, but it began to take a toll on my arm. The S model is lighter than the MP and gives a good balance of power, feel, and spin production. My arm is happier, and so am I. All tennis rackets are compromises, and I like the way this one works.
