As a beginner-intermediate player who doesn’t understand rankings or poly-strings, I just wanted something that would give me confidence. THIS racquet made me feel like I could hit any shot I wanted. It’s light enough for me to get prepared early and comfortable enough to play with for hours. The oversized head makes it very forgiving, and it feels very stable to play with (racquet doesn’t twist in my hand on off center shots). Love this racquet, will probably buy another one.
This racquet allows harder swings for sure and keeps it in. Going from a 118 to this is what I want to do for a faster swing. The racquet feels more of a flexing gram when you hit the ball even in the smaller sweet spot, my last chance for an actual players racquet.
I was looking for a racquet to play tennis with my sons. Both are fairly skilled youngest plays line 1 in middle school, 15 year old plays line 1 varsity in high school. I'm in my 50's and wanted a racquet I could re-act with and have control as well. The sweet spot is nice and off hits still seem to find away over the net. I play at an intermediate level now though I could see a advanced beginner liking this racquet as well.
Love how light and the control on the return
A very solid feel and plenty of power in the racquet. Slightly lighter frame than I am used to.
I like the racquet very much. I usually don't buy a racquet without play testing first but i took a chance based on the description of the type of player who could use it. The only thing I don't particularly care for is the string. I will be getting both racquets restrung soon with a string I prefer that's why the 4 stars instead of 5.
Thie racquet is well balanced, it has enough power for deep baseline shots, feels great on volleys and overheads.
Good quality used by top rated players
Very good
My grandkids ordered this racket and they were very happy using it
Good feel but a little lite and needs to be restrung
Perfect racket in perfect price
Shipping was quick and easy. My son, who made the junior high tennis team for the first time, loves this racket. It's light and easy to maneuver, and provides plenty of pop and spin. Highly recommend for a beginner-intermediate player.
This mid sized racquet is just what Inwas looking for. I played Wilson Triads 15 years ago and it reminds of those, only better. Returning to tennis after years away is easier with this product that gives me a nice combination of some power and control. It consistent and comfortable feel is helping build my confidence in striking the ball.
Fantastic racquet - for a very fair price, and free shipping! Feel I got a great value for my amateur tennis game.
good feel when hitting, strong strings, light, love it
Great racquet
I prefer the slightly larger mid size head at 102 sq. inches, which provides a slightly larger sweetspot. The Radical S is a nice ‘tweener option without the Radical family. The racquet itself felt really light in my hands, allowing for me to produce very fast swing speeds for longer stretches. Would really recommend this frame for an improving player who is looking to bridge the gap between a larger framed racquet that provides tons of power and a smaller framed racquet that provides loads of control.
A big reason I chose the Head Graphene XT Radical S because of the easy spin that it creates. I play a few times a week on my ALTA team. I usually compete in mixed or menG+笻s doubles. This racquet allows me to hit deep shots with a good amount of spin. It has a huge sweet spot and a lighter, more maneuverable feel to it. I chose this version because it is a little lighter than the MP, but heavier than the Lite. I love the way my slice shots and come off this racquet. My volleys have improved dramatically since switching to this racquet. I have more feel and better placement. IG+笻ve finally been able to master my drop shot volley! My serve is very consistent and I feel confident aggressively going after both my first and second serves. IG+笻m looking forward to having a lot of success this season.
