I bought this racquet for my son in law who is an athlete, but beginning tennis player. I have had great success with my Head racquets over the years and felt this was an appropriate starter racquet for him. The price and characteristics of the racquet seem like a great place for him to start.

It’s a good racket at the price point and for beginners. But it’s a bit unstable when trying to recover from a deep ball.

Just got back into tennis and was pleasantly surprised with my new racquet. I first used it with a ball machine and had great control. I also liked the power delivered on my serves. Great value.

This is my first racquet purchase is nearly 15 years, so an upgrade was needed. I tried a handful of racquets from Head, but this one felt like the Goldilocks racquet. The Instinct had a little too much pop and I found myself holding back too often during volleys. The Speed line found too many balls going out. The Radical’s sweet spot feels smaller and I’ve been mishitting balls, but each time I play with it I gain confidence in what I can do. It responds well to a full swing and I have no trouble generating top spin with a full swing. Way fewer balls are ending up in the net than with the Prince I had been been using before. Hope this helps someone else!!

It is a good quality racquet. It’s light and looks good too. I wish it would have come with a cover.

My son wanted to upgrade his racquet. Loves it!

As a newer player I was looking for a well rounded racquet that would offer room for growth / improvement. This seemed to check those boxes. After several sessions am pleased with the purchase (although I have limited experience to compare against). Great price and fast shipping.

Haven't found anything that I don't like at this point but have noticed it feels and plays different than my Prince rackets i've used for the last 10+ years. Definitely feels light in your hand so maneuverability is a plus. It allows for big swings and buying a second to restring differently for more power at lower swing speeds. And to test it's feel at the net.

Very good fit for me with a good balance of control and power

Picked up this racquet on sale as my “cheaper alternative backup” to my Head Radical Tour OS. I found playing with this racquet a refreshing and fun. Moving from a 107 sq in to 98 sq in took a little adjustment, but I’m happy with the lighter feel and faster head speed. Will be changing out the pre-strung synthetic guy to a multifilament soon. A great offering and price point in the Radical line.

The control and ping I get from the racquet is fantastic. I had a history of tennis elbow, but despite the weight this racquet has been good to my arm.. May get an overgrip to get a perfect hold..

I have used many models and brands in the past and the Radical is still my favourite. I chose the Radical MP for its balance, smoothness, and versatility. It's a racquet I can pick up and feel comfortable hitting immediately.

It feels great to play with, the weight is perfect. It's the ideal racquet I've been looking for.

Out of all the Radicals in this line I really enjoyed this one the most. When you string this up with a polyester string you can really see the potential of this frame. It takes a bit of getting used to at first as it will feel slightly stiff with the poly, but once you get used to it it’s really great. I noticed an exponential amount of power and control from the baseline. The weight and balance of this frame really shows from the baseline. I get a great feel from this frame and it is very comfortable as well. If I could change one thing about it I would ask for more spin potential, but that is definitely something that can be added with a different string perhaps. Another great aspect of this racquet is the fact that you can change the grommet system- this really takes it to the next level. I’d recommend giving this one a try!

The first thing that stuck out to me was how nice it is to be able to change your grommet system. The racquet comes in the 16x16 string pattern, which gives me the ability to produce a lot of spin and create ample power. As a 4.0 player who plays 2-3 times a week, this racquet really is the total package. The beam profile (20/23/21) fits my liking and the newest Graphene update provides awesome frame stability. This is a stronger racquet than the previous version. I string up the Radical MP A with Tecnifibre’s X-One Biphase 16G at 54 pounds.

This is an awesome racquet. I chose the 16x16 string pattern because I wanted more spin, but my teammate uses the 16x19 string pattern and loves it as well. I used to play with the previous version and upgraded to this one about a month ago. IG+笻ve been playing matches twice a week with my 5.0 interclub team and taking lessons twice a week as well. My groundstrokes have improved a lot. I love the feel and the power that I can easily get with this racquet. ItG+笻s pretty light and allows me to make an impact with my volleys. My placement is not perfect at the net, but I make up for that on the power side. When it comes to serving, IG+笻m a big, big fan of this racquet. IG+笻m able to get plenty of speed and kick on my first serve. On my second serve I tend to be more reserved and this racquet allows me to stay aggressive while focusing on my consistency. IG+笻m thinking about trying out the other string pattern just so that I can compare the two. Definitely recommend this racquet!
