Great upgrade from the factory strings on my racket. They play well.
I have been using RPM Blast in a Pure Drive, but developed rotator cuff problems and needed a racquet and string change. Now hitting with a Yonex Ezone 98 and Babolat Xcel 16g at 35lbs. Power, spin, and feel are good and the arm and shoulder feel much better.
Bought these strings for the price and because I wanted a ready to use racquet on arrival. I like them so much, I will request them at my club from now own. Very intuitive soft and responsive.
Chose this because my strings were vibrating and causing my wrist to hurt. This and changing to the Babalot synthetic pro grip have made a tremendous difference.
Sturdy stringing that focus on beginner/intermediate level working on control.
Nice blend of control, power, comfort, and feel.
Provides stability, power, control, and arm comfort. Might require more than usual restringing.
This turn out to be a great addition to my AERO racquet. Strung at #55 it gives me power and control with comfortable feel
good string for the price
been using excel for years, easy on the arm, good feel
Was very happy with the playability of this string after adjusting to a lower tension. Plays similar to gut at a reasonable price when on sale.
I bought it for my son. It is his first time to try the Babolat Xcel 16G with tension 55. He loves it. It has enough spin, control and feel comfortable. It took a little bit of time for him to get used to it. Now he uses most of the time. He has 3 rackets.
VERY GOOD WHEN FRESH. LOSES TENSION QUICKLY AND IS HEAT SENSITIVE.
I am 3.5 player and have used this string for about 4 years. It is responsive and I am able to generate a lot of power.
According to my son this string is excellent. It creates a lot of spin, gives you power, pop, and a crisp feel. He loves it.
My daughter just began playing with this string and it only took one session for this to be her preferred string.
This is the best string I have ever played with.Long lasting even with heavy hitting and lots of spin.
Very good very durable and very affordable strings
This is a very good string, emphasizing spin, but exhibiting great power as well. Can lose a bit on the control side, perhaps arguing for a 17 gauge configuration.
This hybrid string combination is used by many top professional players who demand the best of all worlds of power, control, and durability! I prefer to use the gut on the mains, and this offers significant insurance for the health of all your joints associated with hitting a tennis ball. The durability is excellent as they last me 3-6 months despite playing four times per week on clay and hard courts. Midwest Sports maintains abundant inventory and the shipping is most reliable.
Great String, I used they in my Blade 98, I get a little more power and control on my ground strokes and servers. But when the strings starts to notch it tend to fly on me. So I need to restring my racket often.
Perfect all around string for string breakers. Thinner gauge for better play and tension maintenance.
Like the spin this string adds to the ball.
they are great cross strings for having good control on your racket. I wouldn't put it on mains and crosses
H.S. tennis coach and PTC suggested this string for me. I'm a heavy hitter with modest topspin. Noticeable improvement in power and spin with this string. I hope it will be durable.
Babolat RPM Blast 16G Tennis String has great spin, feel and durability. Can't beat it!
Quickness of receiving the order.
Great feel!!! My game improved since I started using this string. Won't change it!

Really like the string - bought it after researching on internet -
Works well on my new babolat French open edition. Great value for the price!
Long lasting string that has the feel and spin that you need.
Long lasting string that has the feel and spin that you need.
A bought a stringing machine a year ago and over the winter experimented with all kinds of string set ups both full beds and hybrids. Ithis experiment included poly, synthetic gut, kevlar, and multifilaments. I always wanted to do this and just see which string would be the best. We'll a full bed of RPM BLAST is by far the best. I string my aeropro drive gt at 58 lbs and couldn't be happier.
with a good price.
well, while this is a very good string, one shouldn't be using it as the only string in his/her rackets. it's a great hybrid string match with hurricane pro or ... otherwise it's lacks a few aspects of the game (spin, power) and the string keeps running off and you need to constantly pull them in position after each shot
I used RPM blast on the mains and Gamma TNT on the crosses all at 52 lbs on my Wilson Steam 99s racket. They played fantastic with tons of feel, power and enough comfort on my arm to aid my tennis elbow pain (considering they are a polyester). The only drawbacks I had was 1) durability- they lasted only two or two and a half weeks, although I have a very open string pattern- and 2) price. Overall a fantastic string for someone who doesn't mind restringing their racket often.
I love the Babolat Xcel string. It has all the comfort and power of comparable Technifibre multifilament strings like NRG2 and TGV with as good or better durability/ tension maintenance. Certainly better durability than the Volkl multis I've tried.
Great string that goes on the mains, pairs well with Xcel 16G on the crosses, provides great spin and feel at net as well as power from the baseline. Great durability as well
Great string that goes on the cross strings, provides excellent feel and pairs well with the Pro Hurricane Tour 16G string
Had this string put on my new racquet and I am impressed with its durability.
My son put this on his new AeroPro racquet and loved the spin he was able to put on the ball. We were not impressed with its durability after it broke 2 months of use. He is trying a different string now.
I love this string. Durable! Already more than a year since the last time had my racket got strung with Pro Hurricane and still looks brand new and not even one knick that's showing.
Did a fair amount of research on arm friendly strings and really glad I picked this string. Arm friendly but still gives me power and spin when I want it.
Best playable & durable string on the market. Have used this for several years & it never disappoints.
Great string. Nice spin, control, and comfort.
Had been using a Luxilon BB for the last 7 or 8 years and this string seems to be as durable with better feel. Would recommend to anyone who needs durability with heavy groundies.
Holds tension well. Nice spin
I always find myself coming back to this string and wondering why I left it. Durable, spin, power, and not too stiff either.
wonderful string and have better feel than Luxilon 16 or luxilon 4G
Love the spin and control I get from this string. Tried others and always come back to this one. Just ordered 4.
Noticed improvement on serves and groundstrokes right away. A real winner set of string.
I'm not a huge hitter so I don't break poly strings too often. I replace these strings every few months usually because of tension loss. Excellent for helping to create extra topspin
My preferred string bed, Alu Power Rough (main) x RPM Blast (cross). This gives me the additional control and spin.
Great control and spin- comfortable for a poly and offers just the right amount of pop, I love it!
this string it++̭-˳ so confortable to use in low tension in my racquet, my arm feel so great.
I've been playing tennis for almost 40 years, and this Babolot RPM Blast is by far the best string I have ever played with. Its power, control, and durability are unmatched. Thank you for developing such a superior product.
More feel than RPM 16 or Big Banger and maintains good power. Get 10-16 hrs playing time before breaks (similar to Big Banger). 18 gauge breaks 6-8 hrs, but has even more control
Had my new racket strong with Blast string at 53lbs. So far I really like it
great feel and control, with good pop
I bought these strings because Nadal used them and I found out they were great. They lacked a little feel but the power and spin were great. They have decent control and durability is not an issue
Worked well as a replacement on my son's E-series. He it well and said it worked great.
My arm is so happy with this new string, the feeling is awesome.
This string provided plenty of pop but I felt that it lacked any feel and was harsh to my aging arm.
I was given a suggestion from an opponent to try this new the pro hurricane because I broke to strings while we were playing. It's given me a lot more spin and it's durability is exceptional. Being a lefty, spin is an added bonus!!! I've tried other strings but always go back. Hope they never stop making this string
Switched my strings to this RPM Blast. Could tell a huge difference in the spin of the ball, lost a little on control. But with practice it'll improve. Also found a bigger sweet spot.
My 13 year old who plays with a lot of top spin has tried a number of different strings over the past year and settled on this one. He likes the feel of the Dunlap silk but gets a little more pop on the ball with the Babolat Power. As a note. My 11 year old that hits the ball a lot harder but not as much spin does not like this string and uses the addiction.
My 11 year old who needs a string that can do about everything well. He's tried the stings for more spin or more power but always falls back to this one that seems to be right in the middle and does everything well. He plays with a Drive Z. I would highly recommend.
Seems working fine. First time using this string. Nothing I don't like so far.
Very satisfied with the 16g rpm blast my game improved after switching To this gut. Been using sonic pro 17g before and hit the ball always out . With the rpm blast i can hit the ball with spin more control in the base line thumbs up also at the Volley...
I've tried LOTS of different strings, and this one might be my favorite so far. A good balance of power and control, and good spin as well. Strung at 56 lbs. Power: 7/10 - It has some nice pop. Not as much power as Weiss Cannon Explosiv, but a moderate amount. Spin: 9/10 - The string feels slick, but the hexagonal shape gives it some bite on the ball. About as much spin as the Luxilon ALU rough. Control: 7/10 - Pretty good control, a good balance considering the power. Feel: 8/10 - I like the feel. It's not as stiff as the Luxilon ALU strings, so it has a softer feel.
No words to describe this string. It is the best poly string in the market, the feeling is amazing, the spin is incredible. I also try the dual string but I think this is superior.
With so many good choices out there, this product stands out. If the price does not bother you, go for it. RPM plays well with very good spin, as advertised.
The feeling you get off of the RPM Blast strings are amazing. Top of the line comfort and spin. No wonder why Rafa uses this string. Simply awesome. Definitely going to have to buy more in the future!
This is the second time I have strung my racquet with this string. Great for spin and control, but I play 4 times a week and the string started to fray after a week but still played well.
has all the power you need with total spin ability to hit all the angles.
I love this string! I had tennis elbow and after using this string for about two weeks--it was so much better! I play with the Babolat Pure Drive and at first was stringing it at about 58... Now I have no tennis elbow and I am back to stringing my racquet at 61-62.
This string would not be on my list of must haves. I has stringer found this string very soft and hard to string a racquet with, now the people I string for seem to like it and they seem to get good play, and it seems to last and hold tension fairly well.
I've been using babolat pro hurricane string for 3yrs now and this string is really durable and a lot of pop on my racquet and last long. I recommend this good string to all club players.
