This is a great playing racquet. I get great top spin and slice on the forehand and backhand side. I am playing much more consistently with the larger sweet spot. Even mishits turn into winners. It has been perfect for me getting back into playing more. The Ti S6 is not too heavy and it allows for both power and control. For a prestrung racquet, and a 57 year old solid 4 player, I couldn't be happier with this racquet. About to buy my second one in the next week.
The Head Titanium Ti S6 racquet is very light weight but packs a nice punch. I like the feel and ease of swing that the Ti S6 provides without the need to overpower the ball.
Noticed such a difference in how I play since using this racquet. Very lightweight too.
The Head Titanium Ti S6 racket is light and easy to maneuver!! Can't wait to begin using it! This is my second one.
Maneuverability and large sweetspot
Racquet has great control and power
Great racquet. Very light weight and powerful.
The Head Ti S6 is lightweight, easy to control and provides plenty of power during long rallies.
I find this racquet very efficient. I use lead tape on the perimeter and this compensates for the light weight
Very Light Racquet. Good feel
Beautiful racket. Lightweight and fast.
Hi I like that in not heavy very easy to find the sweet spot is a little bigger than the rest being using it for many years now and still love in it.
Light with power and control. I like the balance and swing..great doubles net playing racket.
Nice balance and light. Great doubles racket.
good power, light weight, meets all expectations
loved the lightweight feel to this racquet. It cured my tennis elbow!
The racquet is light and quick with a large hitting area. These characteristics are perfect for the doubles player.
Great as first adult-sized racket for older kids.
The only think better than the S6 racquet, is the outstanding experience with Midwest Sports. So far have bought 3 for myself, friends and relatives. Price and service are excellent.
I've owed Head Si6 racquet for over 20 years and still fined it to be the best in play. Light, great sweet spot and playability for any age group. I also own the Si7 which is no longer available. Stringing on both racquets, must have Gut strings for better control and power. (55 lbs) I am USTA rated strong 3.5, and have owned other Head racquets, but end up going back to my Si6 or the Si7 for inter-club playing.
I liked the racquet, great for playing outdoors/indoors, would recommend for a beginner/advanced athlete.
I've been playing with this racquet for years and have never had an issue: weight, firmness, or control!
Likes: light weight, large head, fairly easy to control. Dislikes: tension of strings is different since it's prestrung (fixing this), and the racquet makes an odd sound with each hit even with a dampener.
I haven’t used this thing yet but have swung it a few times. Love the way it feels in my hands and love the lightness of it. Midwest Sports has such great service. Easy order and simple shipping.
Been using this for 3 years. Suggest that you ditch the strings immediately and get it strung with a 16 gauge Natural Gut at 40 pounds. Install Babolat's string savers for durability. You'll then have a stick with power, control, and feel.
I bought it as a gift for my wife as her second racquet. I like the weight and maneuverability. Dislike the grip — doesn’t adhere sufficiently to my hand.
Best racquet in the Head line I have ever played with... and light, I play with a 41/2. Suggest you tryit if you are looking for a winning stick !
I'm a newer tennis player and the racquet has helped me with control and accuracy. It's a little bit heavy, but otherwise I couldn't ask for more!
I have been using this racquet for many years. I am blind in one eye, so I need a light racquet I can easily maneuver at the last moment, and this one fits my needs well. The only drawback is the prestrung tension. It is too high for me. I find myself having to swing too hard, and hitting the frame too often (hard to avoid when half blind) leads to occasional broken frames. I restring at around 51, and that makes a big difference.
I´ve been using this model of racquet for more than 5 years and are completely satisfied with it, it fits well with my play style.
This racquet is light enough to easily swing for a proper follow through with more power than my older (wood) racquet and solid accuracy. Now all I have to do is improve my game!
Liked it. After five months of demoing other rackets, tried this racket on loan from a friend. It took a bit to get used to it but I am playing as well with it and it is very easy on the arm because it is light.
Great control ,bigger head size, light weight
This is a follow-up review of the TI.6 since I've been using it since last fall. I have recently won my first USTA men's 60 singles title with this racket and I feel like with this racket I can go for defense to offense faster even the most people say it's more of a double's racket. It's the perfect racket for a senior tournament player who wants to get performance without getting worn out ha ha. I also get a lot more pop on my serve with this racquet and can hit heavy slice serves as well.
bought for my wife. Casual player. Very forgiving racket.
This racket is the best, especially for doubles. Big sweet spot and it is really light.
This was purchased as a gift for my youngest daughter. I have owned the same racket for absolutely years. Bought one for each of my other daughters and they both love it too. A great racket at a great price. The tennis pro agrees that the Tis6 is a good racket.
I've used this racket for over 10 years. Best racket I've ever used. Great for doubles as it is lightweight for volleying but still powerful enough for ground strokes. Since doubles is a control game, the best string to use is Head's Rip 16 gauge control and start your stringing at 60 pounds.
After playing with Dunlop for many years and Wilson many years before that I was recently looking for a new frame that was light especially for my age at almost 60. One of my long-time playing friends had me try his old titanium TIS six which he had played with he said for 14 years. I fell in love with at the moment I picked it up it was stiff as I like since I have compact strokes also like the fact it is head heavy slightly even though it was one of the lightest rackets around easy to get around the court. Love the way it's served, volleyed , and able to hit deep penetrating strokes I'm 4.0 but have been ranked in age group tennis in Midwest since my 30s. Wishing I'd tried this frame long ago as my Dunlop hasn't been produced in over 6 years. It was a joke to get this racquet for only $79.95!!! Bought two so I'm set for tournament tennis and rec play for the long haul....these racquets don't wear out!!
This racquet is very light, but gives off tons of power! I’ve been using this frame for a while now and I play mostly doubles. My volleys and overheads have that perfect punch that you need when you are an avid doubles player. I also love that the sweet spot allows for forgiveness when you aren’t as accurate as you should be. I have noticed a decrease in my mis hits since beginning to use this racquet. For all of the power that this racquet has, I was surprised that it had just as much control as well. I can feel confident swinging out on my ground strokes and know that they won’t soar to the tarp, and they’ll stay deep in the court like I need. This racquet also helped me to develop some topspin on my shots and my serves. Overall this is a very maneuverable, versatile frame and I would recommend it to a variety of players.
Love this racquet, but not the prestrung tension. Too tight. Yet still my favorite.
I usually play with a Prince racquet but decided to try something a little lighter in weight. I am extremely happy with my choice. I have noticed I don't have the control I had with the Prince but I assume it is because I am just not use to it.
This racquet is very good ; light weight and easy to control and helps generate more power
THIS HAS BEEN MY RACQUET OF CHOICE FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS.......WOULD NEVER WANT TO PLAY WITH ANYTHING ELSE. GREAT FEEL UP AT NET AND GROUND STROKES ARE POWERFUL IF YOU HIT THE SWEETSPOT.....DONT DO THAT ENOUGH BUT WHEN I DO THIS RACQUET PRIVIDES PLENTY OF POWER! MAY HAVE TO GIVE UP TENNIS IF THIS RACQUET IS EVER DISCONTINUED!

This racquet gives power and control, also super light weight. I'm a 4.0 player. I also bought one for my 12 yr. old and my 14 yr. old. Love it!
I played with my new racquet for the first time today and I loved it. I am vacationing in Florida and did not want to travel back and forth with my racquet so I ordered this as a spare, but I think I will get another one to play with up north. I am a 70 year old recreational player and this racquet gives me quite a bit more power. I bought this racquet after conferring with your pro online and I'm so happy with his choice.
I keep trying new racquets and keep going back to this one.
Have been using since 2011-12. Light and excellent for swings, particularly if you are looking for good back strokes with a light weight racquet. a real 5 star!!.
This racquet is an excellent choice for a wide range of players. It is very affordable for a racquet that has a good balance of power and feel. I love it for every phase of my game, and it is very lightweight. It performs well for serves, volleys, topspin shots and sliced shots. It helped me start playing again after a long break from tennis. Thanks for an excellent product.
I bought this because I was getting back into the game after years of not playing (I'm 25 and played as a kid) and it had very high reviews for a beginner racquet. Pros: Feather-light! Tacky and comfortable grip. Quality strings. Cons: Despite it having a large frame, the sweet spot was smaller than I expected. I quickly outgrew it (only about 6 weeks). It's truly designed for a beginner or someone who has a gentle/slower swing. After I got into the groove of a good swing and started hitting with some force, the ball soars past the baseline and is a little hard to to control (it doesn't have a great feel). My instructor suggested I upgrade to a "player's" racquet after only six weeks and after I did, things went a lot better. But, like I said if you are truly a beginner and don't plan on hitting balls with much force, its really great.
I have more control and accuracy over the other I got on a trade. Great feel since I have large hands and very strong wrists could not ask for anything better, many thanks .
Love this racquet! Have been using this frame for 5+ years. I am a solid 4.0 male doubles player. This racquet is super light and manuverable but still packs a punch on volleys and overheads. Lets hope Head keeps producing this solid frame for many years.
I also own a S12, but I love the S6 as well. S6 is slightly heavier and the flare design string pattern different from the S12. Regardless, I love them both.
I bought this same racquet perhaps 10 years ago and have been using it ever since. I figured it was time for a new one. The new version of it is a real bargain and has the same beautiful design and feather-light body. I've been playing tennis for over 40 years and have purchased some absurdly expensive racquets. This is my go-to racquet. It's a great value.
I love this racket ! Very few miss hits ( my fault , not the racket ).. It's lite, but very little vibration, has a good sweet spot. Pretty good power when nesc. I let a buddy borrow the racket & he played so well with it, he wanted it.. So I did give it to him & bought another for myself !!
The Ti S6 has proven out to be a very nice racquet. The cost is realitivly low and the performance quite high. It's head heavy for more power and the weight is good for me.
I really love my new purchase of the Head Titanium TiS6 tennis racket. It has a grip size of 4 1/8 because I have small hands. Glad that Midwest Sports had them in stock.
