For people who have trouble with spin I recommend finding something else. But for those who can produce good spin, this racket produces good pace and has very nice control.

I demo'd a handful of racquets, and the Babolat Pure Drive was my favorite. It's very versatile, and the perfect weight for me. I'm an recreational-intermediate player.

I bought this racquet to replace my old Babolat Pure Drive, which is probably 8-10 years old. The new racquet feels a little lighter. I had it strung for a little more control and less power, as I'm a hard hitter. The racquet felt comfortable immediately. I'm noticing that it's easier to swing on my serve and feels good on both ground strokes and volleys.

I had an older racquet that was tried and true. I took a chance on buying this one and fell in love with it. The extra length makes a big difference. The accuracy of my balls is so much better.

Have an 18 Pure Drive with the same string & tension that was just bought in the Spring, but the two racquets feel totally different. I even reached out to TennisPoint to make sure I got the same string due to the feel being so different. Been hitting with the racquet for 2 weeks now, and I am still trying to get the feel of the racquet.

I have been using Pure Drive for over 5 years. I feel that Pure drive has a good balance between baseline power and volley inside court. I'm over 50 and don't feel the the Raquet is too stiff for my arm. I only played double drills / hybrid strings (natural gut and poly, 54/52 lbs). about two hours a week on court. I used many different brands over the years, Wilson, Prince, Head, etc. I feel that Pure Drive is easier for me to hit through from the base line.

This racquet is basically a rocket launcher! So much power it was very hard to control at first. I love the feel of this racquet. It feels better than any other racquet I used. Volleys and serves are so much easier. Love the spin potential. Still will need an adjustment period especially when I hit flat or swing away. I also will restring higher tension for more control.

My 16 year old son has been using this racquet for about 2 weeks and is getting it broke in. He likes it. The small frame and handle width is perfect for him. He is a hard hitter and cracked his other racquet he had so he decided to try something different and purchase this one. So far so good!

The Pure Drive seems to give a good combination of power and control. It is, however requiring more adjustment than I expected. While it has good balance, it seems heavier in the midsection, requiring me to be somewhat stronger with my hand and forearm. I am still tending to be “late” with my forehand down the line. But I am adjusting.

My daughter uses this racquet in Advanced level junior competitions. It's one of the most popular choices among her peers. It has plenty of power and control and has been working out well for her. Only thing that I want to complain is: I do her strings myself with a very basic drop-weight machine with two-point mount . It's kind of difficult to clamp the horizontal line at the top because it's so close to the frame that it almost gets underneath the mount. It's still doable. Just a tiny bit inconvenient.

This is an updated version of my husbands favorite racquet from his youth. He absolutely loves it and was shocked to find it under the Christmas tree!

Racket is very responsive and sweet spot seems larger than my last Babolat racket. I am around a 3.0 level bought the racket on a former WTA player recommendation. I would in turn recommend the racket!

The Pure Drive feels slightly heavier and stiffer than the Pure Strike, and the ball comes off the racquet with some explosiveness.

It is still a stiff frame and I found this edition to be quite muted.It was not fun. After 3 days,the elbow began to feel it.

Love the feel of the new 2021 Pure Drive. I have Volkl Cyclone 16G strings that are strung at 46#.

Exactly as advertised. I have played with earlier versions and the feel has definitely been improved. Love it paired with Solinco Hyper-G.

Love this new version. Feels closer to the black 2012 model but even more solid. I like it even better than both 2012 and 2018 (did not like 2015) Power is even more effortless. Love the new metallic blue paint design as well. If you like Pure Drive, best one yet.

I love the touch, feel, and sound from the 2021 babolat drive on a crisp, clean shot! It is very forgiving with a large sweet spot too. Visually the racquet looks sleek and modern. The swing motion is similar to the 2018 Drive too. I love it!

Great power without sacrificing control. I had the racquet strung with Babolat RPM 16 at 52 and it’s perfect for spin and not too tough on the arm.

I bought this new 2021 Drive model to take advantage of technical improvements to the 2018 Drive racquet I bought (slightly) used. I chose babolat addixxion strings at 55lbs (midpoint of recommended tension). The addixxion strings are arm friendly and have good touch. The new 2021 Drive sweet spot is large, but when hit true has a wonderful “babolat” sound. As with any racquet, different strings, tension, or use of hybrid strings, will accentuate power and control. My initial impression of this 2021 Drive is most favorable, I feel it has better touch and control, even on miss hits. I do try different strings at different tension to obtain better results. Midwest Sports quickly strung the racquet and the 2 day shipping got this racquet into my hands without much delay!
