I think most people would say it’s hard finding a durable shoe with the performance and comfort that you need to last for hours of court time. There are always positive and negative reviews for each leaving quite a bit of room for error. I tried on the Zoom Vapor X on the carpet in the showroom and to no fault of theirs they felt fine. I took out to the courts and we usually will go for 3-4 hour periods at a time and I figured after the first couple of sessions they just needed to be broken in. I wore them a few more times and also tried for a couple short stints later on. These shoes have the worst cushioning on any tennis shoe I have ever worn. I felt like I was standing directly on the court with no padding in between. I had leg, knee, shin, foot pain so bad after one day of hitting I physically couldn’t walk. I reached out to Midwest and they confirmed their store policy was one you wear the shoes you cannot return. I also contacted Nike and they said I could pay shipping to send to them and have it inspected but if nothing showed wrong from the factory they would ship back to me and I would be out both shipping fees. This is not fault at all to Midwest as Nike should have a policy in place when I customer is in actual pain from using the shoes they can return. Shop at Midwest as they are such nice people but I would steer clear of the Nike vapor X
