I've been bouncing between New Balance, Adidas and Asics prior and never wore Nikes. Bought these because they were on sale and stupidly inexpensive compared to everything else. Hands down the most comfortable shoes I've ever played in. Went from the box to the court and by the end of two hours, I had to remind myself I was wearing them. The best part? New Balance and Asics just stank to high heaven after one day of use. These still smell like fresh shoes.
Easy shoe to break in. Lightweight on the court.
Welp...I'm not saying that the shoes were entirely to blame, but as someone that has been playing tennis since high school and has had a variety of shoes since then (I'm in my late 20's), I have to assume the shoes had to play at least somewhat of a role in me completely rupturing my Achilles after running after a ball at tennis practice. If I had a way to prove the shoes had a major role in my injury I would sue Nike, but unfortunately I don't, so all I have now is this review to warn you not to buy these. That's not to speak negatively about Midwest, just about Nike and the design of this specific shoe, it has a very heavy grip and rubber outer sole, I should've known not to trust these shoes.
Good stability, slides well, holds up well so far.
These shoes are amazing all around all day comfortable and can take a beating I use for work ...
