I bought two pairs of the 1007 4E, and now not sure why I did that. The 1006-4E which I have a pair of is the most comfortable and best foot protective tennis shoes I have ever owned, period.

I bought 4E based on my Doctor's suggestion (foot problem). I am a very active tennis 🎾 player. It fits my needs, but I had many other New Balance Shoes over the years. This one is average at best. G.V

Initally I found the shoe was bit stiff - especially the sole felt very hard. However over hours of use I have gotten used to the feel. I am still questioning the sole design as for wear and tear, along with the grip of the surface. It is not a bad replacement of the 1006s but I do miss the comfort and sole-grip of the 1006.
