Great Color
This shopper rated the product 2 out of 5 stars

Love the color of this shoe, but it is very stiff and has a serious break-in period. It also runs short. I am having to use shoe stretchers to widen the toe box and compress the padding to get some needed space in these shoes. My foot is not quite a size 8. I buy on-line all the time (sz 8, B width) and I can barely get my feet in this size 8 shoe. Order a half size up, be ready for the lack of width in the toe box and a break-in period. Still, I love the color.

Different than Orignal fit

Runs more narrow and a touch smaller than the original which I LOVED. I’m trying the men’s version in hopes of getting a bit more width.

Love them!
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I've ordered 5 pairs and still love them! I'm a singles player, run a lot and have an average/slim foot. Used to wear Asics, after a shoe update I tried shoes from virtually everyone. The trend seems to be chunky, heavy, wide shoes, none of which worked for me. These are light, responsive, comfortable. Virtually no break-in time. In a dress shoe I wear an 8-8.5, in all my athletic shoes (brooks, nike, new balance, asics etc), I wear a 9, same with these Mizunos.

Too small

Disappointed that even though I went up a size they were far too short.

seem to run smaller
This shopper rated the product 2 out of 5 stars

The Wave 2 seem to run smaller than the previous model of Wave Exceed Light which I loved! I usually wear a size 7.5 with these shoes. Bought the Wave Exceed 2s in 7.5. Wore them today first time for tennis drill. Not as comfortable for me. Felt super tight in toe box. In other words my feet were killing me and couldn't concentrate on the tennis & couldn't wait to get them off my feet. Used regular socks I always wear. Now stuck with shoes that don't fit. Also, noticed the back of heel cuff area is higher than previous model and a couple times the highest part was rubbing on lower ankle. Again, broke my concentration, was worried I would get blister. Maybe will try a size 8 but just walking around in the shoes is definitely not like running and stopping like tennis. Mizuno's previously straight out of the box were comfortable and never required break in, as it should be. Luckily, I have a pair never used in box of the Wave Light One. Will wear those. Why do companies have to change something that works???
