Luxilon Element 130 is a new 16L gauge string that places an emphasis on playability and tension maintenance, without sacrificing the spin, control, and durability for which Luxilon is known. The Element combines multi-mono technology with a unique Luxilon polymer to allow for ultimate feel and touch. The Element has a softer feel than that of the Luxilon ALU Power, but does offer less durability than ALU Power & 4G. Thinner 16L gauge for added playability.

Excellent playability, not as durable as some other Luxilon strings

I use this in a Wilson Burn with the open (Spin Effect) stringing pattern (18 mains, 16 crosses). Playability is excellent, but I break a string about every ten matches. The Luxilon 4GS string is far more durable and still feels good. I suspect the Element strings would last much longer in a racket with more dense stringing pattern.

This string provides a consistent power and durability that I enjoyed with the Luxion Big Banger ALU but this string helped illuminate my tennis elbow issues.
