low enough so ankle bone doesn't rub
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I was having trouble with my shoes rubbing the inside ankle bone. This shoe was cut low enough to avoid that discomfort. I was able to put them on and play immediately without too much stiffness in the shoe.

Bought these for my daughter at her normal size and they were tight. I’d buy a size up.

Nice Shoe Great Value
This shopper rated the product 4 out of 5 stars

Got these for my wife who plays pickleball once or twice a week. She was looking to upgrade form typical cross trainers and tried on a lot of shoes. She gravitated toward K-Swiss shoes because of their comfort. She didn't try this particular style on before buying and was a little worried about fit and comfort. Comfort has been excellent, her only complaint is the lacing system is a little difficult to really cinch down with the way the laces go through the top of the tongue, but she just stopped lacing them through the tongue and it seems to be good for her. For size reference she ordered 7s in the Ultrashot Team compared to the following: Nike 6.5, Babolat 6.5
