Head Radical Tour Raw Black Paddle

I would give it a 4.5 if I could. I love using my Radical Tour Raw Black Paddle, BUT I am on my third Raw Black paddle in less than a year as the red rim protection has cracked and then chipped off on one top corner of my paddles. The first time I decided I must have just hit the ground too hard to dig out a slammed ball, but when it happened a second time with a new replacement at the exact same top corner I was not pleased. I like the feel and play of the paddle so I replaced it a third time, though. Maybe not wise, but I like Head paddles and have always played with one (Tennis, Racquetball and now pickleball). I really hope the Head Pickleball designers can work on this problem by maybe changing the brittleness of the rim with a little more rubber-like mixed material so it doesn't crack so easily. I recommend the paddle however, and will continue to purchase Head paddles. Thank you MidWest for your great paddle discounts and sales so I did not have to decide to try another brand. Keep what works for you - and not what others say to buy.
