Head Lynx 17G Tennis String
Headstrings are not durable at all, broke mine in a week
Arm friendly for a poly with better feel than most. Very smooth, works great as a cross string in a hybrid setup.
I still recommend this string but wanted to point out something interesting about it. I find it is excellent and feels great in a powerful racquet (Head Prestige Pro) at which it offers the touch and control needed for such a racquet. I have found a tight string pattern displays the string properties better than a very open string pattern. Odd but something I have noticed. Great string so worth trying!
Used this string in a cross for some ladies at my club that I string for. They have loved it and have told many people about it. I've gotten a few requests for the same combination.
I have tried this string and the Head Lynx Edge in my Head Prestige Tour Touch racquet and the topspin from the Edge string is one difference and the other is this string has better control and touch/feel. Great string and would recommend one try it. The only con is less power but with modern racquets today, one can generate a great deal of power so having a good touch string is an additional plus. Switched to this string from the Luxilon ALU Spin 17.
