I was looking to upgrade my Yonex Ezone AI, which I loved, but hard to justify the $320 price of the new Ezone racquets. Demo'd the Dunlop FX 500 and so glad I did! This racquet gives me great power plus control and is really comfortable to use. And easy on the arm. I use it with Gamma Live Wire 17g strung at 58lbs. So glad I found this great gem!

Have been playing with Prince racquets since the mid-80s and have never been happy with alternate options. I’m thrilled with this new Dunlop FX 500 (100”), especially the added pop to my first serve and improved spin on kick & slice serves. This racquet has easy power from the baseline and crushes overheads. Still getting comfortable around the net, but similar feel to my preferred heavier racquets. I used hybrid stringing at 54 lbs with Luxillon ALU Big Banger (mains) & Wilson NXT (cross).

It wasn’t the best racquet that I’ve played with. It was too light for me, and it had a little too much power for me.

Dunlop has taken a great racket and made it better, with extra control that you may not have had from the previous model. Power is still astonishing!!! Serving not only has amazing pace but now with improved feel plus accuracy and you get better net play with lower stiffness. Must have for anyone looking to get that extra pop and to take control of the point early.
