Pickleball Marketing Manager
Summary
The core purpose of the Pickleball Marketing Manager is to drive our brand's strategy and growth in the expanding pickleball market. Responsibilities include creating and managing marketing campaigns, handling social media, overseeing partnerships, and boosting community engagement to attract new customers. You'll also work with the purchasing team as a product consultant and coordinate with marketing and web development teams on email, website, and digital campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and track a comprehensive pickleball marketing strategy and budget, including e-commerce, email, social media, digital marketing, events, and content marketing.
- Organize and execute community events, overseeing logistics, registrations, vendor coordination, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the email manager to plan, create and test various email campaigns.
- Create, write, proofread, and edit marketing images and content to ensure brand consistency.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager on Pickleball specific strategies, creative and campaigns.
- Lead a content creation strategy including blogs, vlogs and video that will be leveraged across platforms.
- Analyze campaign metrics and create performance reports.
- Provide product assortment recommendations for our retail store and purchasing team and develop strong relationships with outside vendors.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to become the Pickleball consumer expert.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in e-commerce, brand or product marketing.
- Passion and in-depth knowledge of Pickleball.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Experience in creating and managing social, digital and email campaigns.
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage budgets.
- Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports.
- Must have a high level of creativity.
- Must be willing to travel to Pickleball tournaments and conferences.
