I bought this racquet for my teenage daughter, new to tennis. She is finding it easy to use. It also looks amazing.
Very good racket for seniors and intermediate players who play a lot of doubles. Good light racket for net players and base liners. This racket has been consistent and comfortable. I plan to buys second one in the near future,
I'm viewing this as an intermediary racquet for me. It's been 10 years since I had a new one, so I tried looking for something with similar specs, all the demos I had tried out were too different. I've warmed up to this after a few weeks, at first it was hard to reign in my shots, I felt I was landing the ball on the edge of the baseline or hitting the net as a result of trying to pick up ground strokes all the time with top spin. I also had to get used to new strings, and of course the more I played with them the more consistent my shots got, perhaps they have also loosened a bit to my liking by now. It's got a nice light swing weight compared to stuff that's in the 315-330 range. For someone who uses 4 ⅛ grip, I'd definitely recommend at least an overgrip. It makes all the difference in controlling. I feel it's got a good oversize reach that is most natural to me after all this time, though I know I should start honing in on smaller head sizes for more nuanced play.
I loved my new Babolat tennis racquet. I have more precise shots with it. I am planning to buy a second racquet.
I do like to volley very much and had enough stability with the Pure Drive to be able to block balls back efficiently. I feel much better playing with it.
