I had a pair of gray Propulse Fury 3 shoes and they were really nice: solid, nice and snug fit and durable. As I liked them, I bought this pair thinking they were just different colors. Not so. The interior of this shoe is less padded than the gray one making it feel looser on my feet. There is also less protection of the big toe so I hurts more.
Super comfortable right out of the box. The sole appears very substantial (I’m optimistic about longevity, just from appearance), and given the outer sole warranty, this is a great value in what appears to be a very quality shoe. I disagree with the lacing criticism others have posted. I find it easy to tighten, and once tightened, your foot feels like it’s being cradled. I also like the fact that the tongue is fixed as it holds the tongue from sliding to either side during play. Overall a great shoe at a reasonable price.
Comfortable, perfect for pickleball, great style
I’ve worn the Babolat Mach 3, Fury 3 and SfX3. I like the lacing better on the Mach 3. Both the Mach 3 and Fury 3 I really comfortable. Although they said the Fury 3 had a wide toebox. I did not feel that it was super wide compared to the SFX3. The SFX3 was too wide, and I found my foot slipping. The Fury 3 is supportive, good traction, and no issues with breathability. I play pickle ball about five days a week and most of my soles only last about two months regardless of the brand.
This shoe has a new, at least to me, lacing design and I find it to be quite poor. I have had my foot slip out of the shoe while playing Pickleball, which is not a good feel. Also, it seems to be cut on the larger size from other Babolat shoes I have had. Not recommended, and will not buy again.
