I have been in the Gel Resolutions for years! This model is horrible. It is more true to size than the old models but the lace pattern is less stable and the height of the shoe at the inner ankle makes this shoe impossible to wear. I made it 15 minutes on the court with these. ASICS has ruined the best tennis stability shoe out there. Such a shame. Now what do I wear?

I loved the old model - have had two pairs - this new X model is off in fit. The inside edge of this shoe is higher than the rest and rubs on my ankle bone - I was literally bleeding when i walked off the court. Why can't the just leave the Gel Resolution alone? It was so good. Not anymore. Sadly, I wore them assuming they were the same and can't return. What a waste of $150.
