These are the second pair of ASICS Gel court shoes I have purchased. They give me the solid support I need when playing competitively for hours numerous times a week.
Great product!
4th Pair of Asics, these are very comfy, and no break-in time. The colors are very pretty and the soles seem to be more durable than my other pairs, we'll see in a few months! Typical narrow to medium width of the Asics brand. Had several compliments on them already.
The Asics Gel Dedicate 8 women's Pickleball shoe is a big disappointment. It feels like you're walking on concrete. I've had several pairs of Asics Pickleball shoes in the past, and their best feature was always comfort, but I started trying other brands, because the Asics soles wear out so fast. On the plus side, they always had cushiony insoles--not any more! The insoles in the Gel Dedicate 8 are thin and hard; they offer absolutely no cushioning. I was going to return them, but if your return item is less than $69.95, there is a $6.95 shipping charge. (So much for free shipping! Read the fine print.) I switched the insoles with a pair from my new Skechers Pickleball shoes. It's a big improvement, though I still wouldn't rate the shoe as comfortable. I'm done with Asics. These shoes weren't expensive, but how much would it have cost them to use a decent insole?
They are soft as soon as you take them out of the box. Broken in for you! That is such a plus. Enjoy them from Day One!
