adidas Mens Barricade 2016

The Barricade is somewhat narrow in the heel and mid-foot, which is perfect for me. At first use, they feel a bit clunky and stiff, but have loosened up since then. The heel platform flares from the leather bottom of the shoe to the court surface (if that makes sense) and is wider than I am used to, which may account for the initial clunky feel. Regardless, I like the support for my narrower foot.

I love the barricade line of shoes. Even better, these have even less break in time. I will warn you, if you have a wide foot you may want to steer clear of these. They are narrow in the mid foot. I have slender feet so these are a perfect fit.

The Adidas Barricade is one of the most reliable shoes out there, always comfortable right out of the box with minimal break-in, and able to handle the stress of intense tennis. Adidas has made major improvements to their 6-month guarantee as well, so the process is much more streamlined now if you do wear your shoes out before 6 months. A solid buy.
